Extended Revo Arms - Mr. Tune - 12-29-2005

I'll be picking those up to try them out when they are released Smile. Tower has them listed as early january.

Extended Revo Arms - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 12-29-2005

cheaper than an extended chassis !!

Extended Revo Arms - UE-Maxx - 12-29-2005

Yeah and if you put both the extended chassis and setback arms that would be even better.

Extended Revo Arms - snakebite46 - 12-29-2005

It would be like a Revo Limo !!!! LOL

Extended Revo Arms - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 12-29-2005

Rimo???

Those arms were in the Feb '06 issue of XRC (why do they print these mags so far ahead??). It will probably be Feb before you can get your hands on a set.

Extended Revo Arms - UE-Maxx - 12-29-2005

They print it ahead because if you don't subscribe, you can buy the magazine in February and thats when it will be out.

Extended Revo Arms - Michowski - 12-29-2005

no they'll be out in 2 weeks. The guys from traxxas are saying that so we can take there word for it since there employees

Extended Revo Arms - JOE - 12-29-2005

there is another company that already has a set of arms that does the same thing, i will have to look around, plus the arms being shaped like that would affect bumpsteer i think but im not sure guess we will see next month Smile

Rob, does that affect the cvd at all because it's on an angle like that?

Does it affect the CVD when the suspension arms travel up and down? Wink

Extended Revo Arms - UE-Maxx - 12-30-2005

No, but wouldn't it like be on twice as much as an angle when the suspension goes up or down?

Extended Revo Arms - RobH - 12-30-2005

Due to the angle, I would THINK the CVD would fall out due to over extending easier, but no one has mentioned anything about that, and they have been around for almost 3 months now, so we would have heard about it if people were having any sort of CVD related problems when running setback arms.

Extended Revo Arms - UE-Maxx - 12-30-2005

Ok. Thats what I was wondering.

Thanks.

Yeah, just like with a stock setup, as long as you inspect your truck before running it, you shouldn't have a problem.
