Here is the link to my bodies I did this past week

My Sportwerks Mayhem ST - This one is Candy red with flames \ ripped affect highlighted in black and then filled in with blue and silver. the silver does not show so well in these pics

My NTC3 which all I need is an idle screw and then I can start it up.
This one has the drips on the front end with the color changing paint. The rest of the body-I did the dabbing of a blue and then backed it with a purple--looks real kewl.

Looks good Smile.

Great job!

Just ditch the HPI sticker on the NTC3 and we'll be all good (no offense hpi I love my RS4)

My ride and Airbrush work - snakebite46 - 11-14-2005

Looks good dude.

My ride and Airbrush work - Biodragen - 11-14-2005

Yeah I have to find something else---it kinda hides a blemish on where I just did not cover that area so well and it is off to me anyway. HPI on an associated car--a twist I say.

You may have another competitor in the custom paint business......

My ride and Airbrush work - Biodragen - 11-16-2005

Thanks especially coming from someone highly regarded in this area.

This was the first time for me so just imagine what my abilities will be in time.
I am a creative person and tend to let things led me to where they do.
I can say about 80% of the time I am impressed myself and the other 20% well leaves something else not making me all that please. I learn quickly and from my mistakes.

I know there is another Racer some of you may know---ASTRO does(Mark H is his name and when he saw the truck body he to was impressed). This too coming from an experience airbrush painter.

Once I get this down more I will get into the 3d stuff more. I can't draw for squat but I wanted and Iron maiden Themed body from 7th son of a 7th son but I don't care to spend the $140 with body, paint and shipping for it. I did not want it for racing but just for the fun of it.

My ride and Airbrush work - Astro - 11-16-2005

Not sure if I read that right but Astro and Mark H are 2 different people. If I read that wrong, sorry :wavey: .... by the way, welcome to the board Biodragen

My ride and Airbrush work - Tex - 11-16-2005

it's marke...lol

If that truck was your first, you'll be pretty good with even more practice. Good job man!

My ride and Airbrush work - Biodragen - 11-16-2005

Astro---you sold me the motor and my neighbor you truck---remember now---the mark I am talking about who locks his keys in his car.

BTW he did it again Sunday in my Driveway---LMAO and he just about did it a second time 30 seconds after we got him in.

My ride and Airbrush work - Astro - 11-16-2005

HAHAHAHAHHA!!!! Yea he told me, and Tex is correct, it's Marke............. Hope everything is good with that motor and The savage as well. Cool

My ride and Airbrush work - NitroNuisance - 11-16-2005

Marke - NitroNuisance, until I figure out a new name.

I saw the bodies in person and the pictures don't even come close. Very nice, expecially for your first time out with the airbrush. I'd guess your designs will become much more complex and tricky the more you paint. Nice work...

And yes, I now carry 2 car keys with me at all times... Just in case I pull a Marke again...

My ride and Airbrush work - Biodragen - 11-17-2005

NitroNuisance = THE car door lock bandit---LMAO @ U

Engine--dunno yet I have to get that idle screw and then fire it up.
Savage is fine---Needs a new g-plug but not sure which to get for Dean.

My ride and Airbrush work - Biodragen - 11-17-2005

This time Dean got him in through the hatch--my daughter climbed in for him.
Dean hooked the latch on the floor and a quick pull---unloacked.

I still LMAO when I think about it.
I know for sure never to give my keys to Nitro

My ride and Airbrush work - PoPRC - 11-17-2005

NitroNuisance, how'd your engine breakin go with your buggy you had at the bash?

My ride and Airbrush work - NitroNuisance - 11-17-2005

Havn't had alot of time to run it. About 3 or 4 tanks so far 1.5 for heat cycling - 3 minutes each up to 190ish then cooled out all the away - about 10 times. Then 2 tanks at very rich settings at 30% throttle. Time to lean out the motor and get it a little hotter for a tank or two. Then good to go.

I have to say that Ofna/Picco .27 is going to be scarry. At 30% throttle and way rich my 9.5 Pro (a.k.a. - 9 1/2) was too fast to control in a small area.

Just don't have the time to spend a few tanks to get it done.

If ya'all are going out to The Hill or WoodRidge this weekend I'll go too. Should be ready to go after a tank or two.

My ride and Airbrush work - nitrosmoker - 11-30-2005

Ya did a good job on your bodies
