OFNA Tank Filter? - UE-Maxx - 11-12-2005 After woodridge yesterday I looked into my tank this morning (still was maybe half full of fuel) and I noticed a couple specks of dirt in the tank and some on the filter (thank god). I am wondering if there is a way to clean the filter and a good way to clean the tank? I also have a dubro in-line fuel filter I can put in, but I took it out too see if it was part of the problems of my 2.5 over heating. The tank after I took it out, the temps dropped like 15-20 degrees. OFNA Tank Filter? - satoch - 11-12-2005 SH has some new cleanable filters that might be of interest to some. Check them out here http://www.neobuggy.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=73 OFNA Tank Filter? - Tex - 11-12-2005 not to get off topic but this is very cool http://www.neobuggy.net/images/News/sh-4.jpg I never used fuel filters (besides the one that comes built into the tank) OFNA Tank Filter? - satoch - 11-12-2005 I like that flywheel puller also! OFNA Tank Filter? - UE-Maxx - 11-12-2005 What is that thing? So is there a way to get it out or clean it. Just want to know before I go out and drive it today. OFNA Tank Filter? - Tex - 11-12-2005 yes, empty the tank, remove it from your truck, clean it in the sink, let it dry completely(prop the lid slightly open for a couple hrs), re-install it, and go play OFNA Tank Filter? - UE-Maxx - 11-12-2005 Ok thanks |
