da Bears

Two boys are playing hockey on a frozen pond in a Chicago, Illinois park when a crazed Rottweiller suddenly attacks one of the boys.
Thinking quickly, the other boy takes his hockey stick, shoves it under the dog's collar, twists it, and breaks the dog's neck, saving his friend.

A reporter is strolling by, sees the incident, and rushes over to interview the boy.
"Young Bears Fan Saves Friend From Vicious Animal," he starts writing in his notebook.

"But I'm not a Bears fan," the little hero replies.

"Sorry, since we're in Chicago, I just assumed you were," says the reporter and he starts writing again.
"Bulls Fan Rescues Friend From Horrific Attack" he writes in his notebook.

"I'm not a Bulls fan either," the boy says.

"Oh, I assumed everyone in Chicago was either for the Bears or the Bulls. What team do you root for?" the reporter asks.

"I'm a Packers fan," the boy replies.

The reporter starts a new sheet in his notebook and writes:
"Little Bastard From Wisconsin Kills Beloved Family Pet".

Da bears - rocco79 - 11-11-2005

yeah i read that on the grid awhile back... Pretty funny.....

Da bears - bandit - 11-11-2005

As long as the Bears are leading the division, and the pack isn't doing so hot, most bears fans will give the pac a break

Da bears - rocco79 - 11-12-2005

no way its been the better part of a decade since bears fans have been able to give packer fans $hit. I say unload on those cheese head while we can!!!!!!

Da bears - FreeRideFrosty - 11-12-2005

My neighbors are fair weather fans. The last few years they were packers and cubs fans... I laugh at them now.

Da bears - north_shore_racer - 11-13-2005

ya im a packers fan...but ive gone to rooting for the badgers while they are actually playing not so suckily...but still it all comes down to the bear packer game cuz even if the bears win the division but the packers win the bear packers games(s) (i think there are 2) then packers still gots the bragging rights...just throwing it out there cuz im a packers fan...

And for that you're going to hell. :bustingup I'm just joking... I hate to say it but even if the pack takes 2 from chicago they have no bragging rights if chicago wins. I think chicago may take the division this year... I have faith.

Da bears - rocco79 - 11-13-2005

I love the bears, but a couple of years back when chicago went 13 -3.... Green bay handed us 2 of those loses.... We won the division, but they still had somethin on us... I say slay the midwest giant while there weak!!!!

Da bears - Mr. Tune - 11-13-2005

When they went 13-3 did they also lose to green bay again in the playoffs?

Rocco's right, kick them while there down!

Da bears - UE-Maxx - 11-13-2005

 :bustingup I thought it was going to end up having to do someting with the packers. I just got back from the bears game. That 108 yard return was amazing.

Naw, it was the eagles that they lost to in the the playoffs in 2001 Sad

Da bears - squirrel - 11-14-2005

go oklahoma raiders!!! (inside joke with me and towshen) that 108 yard touchdown was pretty cool!!!

Da bears - Tex - 11-14-2005

I didn't watch the game or highlights...who (what team) scored a 108 yd TD?

Da bears - Mr. Tune - 11-14-2005

The bears.

The 49ers were attempting a ~51yard field goal into the wind. Pretty dumb move condsidering how windy it was yesterday. So, the bears decided to send a guy way back by the endzone. He caught it at the back of the endzone and return it for a touchdown!

They said it was the longest return ever. 108 yards!

Go Bears!

Da bears - maxximum_44 - 11-14-2005

New NFL record!!
Longest TD ever
Longest FG returned for a TD

The "Hall Of Fame" called the Bears Organization today for #31 Nathan "The Interceptor" vasher's game jersey and scoring ball. Sweet!!

The Pride and Joy of Illinois !!!!!!!!!

Da bears - bigjs - 11-14-2005

I hate to say it, but the bears have beaten some crappy teams. The real test comes this week.

Da bears - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 11-14-2005

Don't know, haven't watched a full game this season. I just like the song....bear down, Chicago Bears..........

Da bears - bandit - 11-15-2005

bigjs Wrote:I hate to say it, but the bears have beaten some crappy teams. The real test comes this week.
Yeah, was listing to ESPN radio today and the Panthers are 3 point favorites, but the way the defense has been playing, they should keep it low scoring so Orton and crew can get some points. But with Thomas Jones bad ribs, Benson knee, and the whole Taylor Kruetz incedent, it's going to be a tough game. At least the game it at home, so the home crowd should help the cause. Go Bears!!

Da bears - bandit - 11-16-2005

Looks like Thomas Jones will be back on Sunday, and Adrain Peterson is a decent back so I think the Bears will be able to pull off the win on Sunday. Especially at home.

Da bears - bigjs - 11-16-2005

I didn't realize that Carolina lost to some poor teams, maybe they aren't as good as everyone is trying to play them up to be. Guess that's why they play the games.
