Went to Meijer and bought an 8 pack of NiMH AA 2350aH batteries and soldered them together in a 5 cell formation and wired it up with Tamiya connectors. Works like a charm and only $17, with 3 extra AA batteries. Receiver pack??? - thenewguy821 - 08-03-2004 The 1100 Mah pack will give you pretty good runtime. As long as you don't do what I did, and leave it on for 2 hours, while I wasn't running. Also, you are right in looking at the 3/2 hump pack. It fits perfect in the Maxx's battery box. I'd also spend the extra $7.50 to get the charger also....
