Meat...your bud is using 20" rims, not 20' (feet) rims.

You don't need injectors unless you're forcing more air into your engine. Other than that you're just going to be flooding it.

One fast Porsche!! - Meatwad - 06-26-2007

hes got a k&n

One fast Porsche!! - Mr. Tune - 06-26-2007

Meatwad Wrote:intake, plugs, injectors, fuel rail, its on 20' rims so im sure its slow off the lineRolleyes

What kind of car are you talking about?

One fast Porsche!! - Meatwad - 06-26-2007

99 monte carlo ss

One fast Porsche!! - SixVi6-Camaro - 06-26-2007

sounds like the tiny hp gain in Power is completely offset by the 20's and those injectors. I'd be willing to bet his car is slower than stock with those mods. A K&N cold air kit is not enough hp gain to need any more injector in any car. Unless he changed the tune for the injectors though the car is probably running rich at wide open but when he is cruising the computer will use the O2 sensors and fuel trims in closed loop to keep the car running well.

One fast Porsche!! - FreeRideFrosty - 06-27-2007

Like I said..... what will he run for?

One fast Porsche!! - squirrel - 06-27-2007

This thread is the highlight of my day!! Can we change the name to "how retarded can meatwad sound today?" Little more fitting!

Meat does he have any stickers on the car? You know those are good for 50 H.P. a piece right??? Tell him if he wants to race for real money to come to the super chevy races at Route 66.

One fast Porsche!! - Meatwad - 06-27-2007

dude i dont take anything you say seriously. you guys actually think that a 3.8 monte carlo or grand am are fast. i dont think so. but its all i can afford right now. if i had the money i would have a nice m3.

One fast Porsche!! - J-Dub - 06-27-2007

Grand ams are equipped with a 3.4 Liter Engine...or a 2.4 Liter Engine. The 3.8 Is in the grand Prix Chassis.

One fast Porsche!! - BJoe - 06-27-2007

I'd bet a 3800SC in a Grand Am would run pretty good. Done right and you wouldn't know what was going on untill it's too late too..........

One fast Porsche!! - Meatwad - 06-27-2007

i got a 3.1 in the ga.

when it blows up, im putting a 3.8 supercharged in

One fast Porsche!! - rocco79 - 06-27-2007

YEAH man!!!! Im sure that tranny will not only mate right up but also be able to handle the power increase no problem!

One fast Porsche!! - Meatwad - 06-27-2007

it will be fine rocco.

One fast Porsche!! - rocco79 - 06-27-2007

rocco79 Wrote:Yep! Computer, Fuel pump exhaust system.... Yep, All should just pop right together sorta like legos!

Hahahaha!!!!

When you blow up that motor (Not IF... WHEN) buy a new car. Forget swapping the supercharged motor in.....

One fast Porsche!! - rocco79 - 06-27-2007

Yep... Just go buy a Mustang GT ... They arent that great or exotic but bolt ons are dirt cheap and they dont cost a fortune to maintain and they are still pretty fast for what they are..

One fast Porsche!! - Meatwad - 06-27-2007

One fast Porsche!! - Tex - 06-27-2007

One fast Porsche!! - FreeRideFrosty - 06-27-2007

Yeah... a ford. If you want the ultimate go fast for cheap find a 5.0 notch with a shitty body. Zooom.

One fast Porsche!! - Racin' Ranger1 - 06-27-2007

so whens this going down?

One fast Porsche!! - FreeRideFrosty - 06-27-2007

I will possibly be back the 4th but there will be too many cops out. Sometime after that probably...... Preferably a day both meat and that other car can come out.

One fast Porsche!! - BJoe - 06-27-2007

rocco79 Wrote:Yep! Computer, Fuel pump exhaust system.... Yep, All should just pop right together sorta like legos!

If you can stuff one of those in a Chevy Citation and Pontiac Fiero, why notIdea There was even one sent into Car Craft or Popular HotRodding where somebody converted an Olds Alero to rwd with a Small Block Chevy for power! IIRC, the Grand AM shared this platform too.

One fast Porsche!! - Meatwad - 06-28-2007

Last time i was at rt. 66 there was a geo metro with a chevy 350 in it and it was rear wheel drive.that thing was quick.

How much tire was under the back of it? For some reason I've got images of Pro Street Chevette's and the Doberton J2000 coming to mind here!
