Raffle Options - SLOW REVO - 01-12-2007

DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 Wrote:Dan,

The raffle will have 100 tickets numbered 00-99. When Joe says they are all sold, the lotto pick3 number from that night will select the winner, using the last 2 numbers of the pick3.

Capish?
^^^^^^ the last 2 #'s

Raffle Options - Tex - 01-13-2007

It's really simple.

Say I want to buy 4 "numbers", I get to choose my numbers (if not previously spoken for).

Example: "Hey Slow, I want 41, 67, 55, 01.....paypal on the way."

Then slow will update the running list and keep posting the list everytime it's update so we all know what numbers are left.

Slow Revo, at $6 a ticket, I want to reserve 5 numbers... I am kinda strapped for cash, but I will have it next Thursday (Jan. 18). I don't expect to be able to pick numbers till I pay, but I do want to make sure that there are 5 available.

Thanks.

is there another thread or would i just send my money to slow?

Raffle Options - FreeRideFrosty - 01-13-2007

Let me know when so I can get money in my paypal account. :-)

Raffle Options - Casketman - 01-13-2007

He's going to need a bigger PM box LOL

Raffle Options - chickenfarmer3 - 01-13-2007

lol, ya really...^

Raffle Options - Koz's-Mugen - 01-13-2007

I'm waiting.... lol....

Raffle Options - Tex - 01-13-2007

He has to build the thread with the 100 numbers so people can start choosing numbers and paying.

don't forget paypal fees added onto your payments Wink

you don't have to PM him your requests, just tell him the numbers you want on the thread

Raffle Options - thenewguy821 - 01-13-2007

Just a suggestion.... Slow Revo should also have a "Hard Copy" of the numbers on a sheet of paper as well, and the ONLY list of numbers that should count, are ones posted by Slow Revo himself. I'm sure that people are honest enough, but if anybody can copy/paste the list with the numbers, it is possible to switch the numbers around.

Raffle Options - Tex - 01-13-2007

yes, the only person to add numbers to the list should be slow revo. We can request numbers but not add them to the list ourselves.

Raffle Options - SLOW REVO - 01-13-2007

Ok, Is everyone good with the options, And the way the winning number will be picked. If so we could get this started

make a poll for which item. then you can get an accurate vote.

I would like a #6 meal with the Savage 25. And also a #7.

Which item is it going to be for? or is it your choice between all of those?

I'm in for 4 tickets once this gets started.

Raffle Options - rocco79 - 01-14-2007

Think if you win you get to pick from any on the list....

Raffle Options - north_shore_racer - 01-14-2007

yea i went back and edited my post to ask but i sorta decided on my own that i'm probably just to dense to not realize that. I really like the idea of #'s because then it is more random than if you pull from a hat or something. I feel like it gives you a better shot at it.

Raffle Options - FreeRideFrosty - 01-14-2007

Any way you could add a nice motor and pipe combo with a parts allowance or motor, pipe, nice radio maybe? Something in that ballpark to get it in the price range? Or maybe for a last option we get a $600 credit with you or whatever..... something like that?? (Just options as I, and not sure about others, could maybe use electronics, motors, whatever, more than another vehicle right now. I would hate to win one and either not be able to run it or be in a position where I could need to sell it.... Make sense?)

Thanks
Dan

How about using the last two numbers of the bears game next week Instead of the lotto.
Example
bears 17
Saints 34
Winning # 74

Raffle Options - Ponch - 01-14-2007

Ehh, I like the idea of a lotto better. But what concensus says goes.

Raffle Options - mikeh - 01-14-2007

I dont care, I'm ready to but some tickets!

Raffle Options - Casketman - 01-14-2007

Well that could limit the number. Say it goes by touch downs. Those numbers will be taken up fast. And there are chances of other numbers never being used. Granted, the list is still long.

Raffle Options - SLOW REVO - 01-14-2007

Paypal Payments will be.
1#'s = $6.45
2#'s = $12.66
3#'s = $18.84
4#'s = $25.05
5#'s = $31.20
6#'s = $37.38

Go with the lotto. It is completely random where as football scores tend to be some more common numbers. (Example I would want to buy, 11, 77,14...... numbers that often come up in football.)

+1, lotto is the way to go
