Josh, and I'm addicted to R/C.

Geez, I hope that helps getting it out in the open.
I find myself constantly looking for something, anything to jump over, climb, bash on, buy, or modify on my truck. I can't make it through the day without my medicine (thats what I call Ebay) just in case I may miss something good. Always trying to find deals, cool new items, or something that would just make my truck that much more interesting or better. My wife is getting a little hot under the collar with me, I call her at least 2-3 times a day checking if were busy this weekend or that weekend to get out and bash or race with anyone. It may seem like I have too much time on my hands but it consumes most of my leisure time, of which I have very little of to spend.
Maybe its only cause I get out so infrequently and can only spend a short amount of time doing this that it builds up to toxic levels in my system and it spills out here so everyone can read about it.

Tell me I'm not alone, or if its worse for all of us then I think we need to start a new Chitown R/C Rehab Center for RC-a-holics.

I just had to say it out loud to hear myself like my wife hears me. :o
just think about the time it took u to wright this post when you could have been playing with your truck (unless ofcorse your at work) but i know how u feel its been almost a week since i could take my medicine (playing with my truck)
I hear ya loud and clear over here Josh... I go through the same crap as you Wink

Josh, I'm still pretty new to R/C but so far it's been a really good time especially hooking up with the Berwyn guys. I can see how easy it is to drop some serious $$ since getting a Savage 25 and all the hop ups that are available. Not to mention the Revo that's on my tower hobbies wish list which the wife now knows I started. As far as finding time it's hard for me as my daughter is going to be 2 at the end of September and that takes a lot of free time not to mention the weekends. I try to get to berwyn or where ever as time permits but it's not easy. Luckely I have a wife that lets me play and enjoy the toys as much as possible but the little one comes first. I have a stock mini t with a 7.2 volt battery pack which she loves to drive in the house so that's fun for both of us.
I hear ya with the kids. My 4 yo has been driving R/C's since he was 18months and has a 4wd electric, my 19month old is starting to play as well now. But it is extremely difficult to get any time to get out and hit some serious play time. I drive around my yard with my kids as much as possible and I LOVE enjoying that time together and watching him learn to jump his truck. But there is nothing like getting together with the guys (and gals) around here and hitting some hardcore bashin and racing.
Speaking of which I do plan on hitting Leisure tomorrow for those of you that will be there. i hope to see a few of us taking trips around the course. It will be my first time there so I hope it all goes well.
