thought I'd better introduce myself. I live in the SW corner of Michigan. 6 miles from New Buffalo. I'm an old fart that occasionally runs at Osceola dragway in Indiana with my 95 Z28 and just got into RC Drag race cars. I got these two to play around with.

Their fun to play with. I just got these a couple weeks ago. The guys said they has stock "hand out" motors in them. They are set up with a micro switch so it's full throttle or nothing. I am having a hard time getting them to go straight. They keep wanting to go sideways as soon as I nail the throttle. I am scared to think what would happen if I used traction compound LOL I swear there's smoke coming off the rear tires when I nail it. I am thinking of going with an esc to gradually get into the throttle until I figure out how to get them to go straight.

Welcome! Do you bash at all? I have a beach house up in Michigan City so I am real close to you.
I have these 2 drag cars, a nitro on road car and 2 older Traxxas electrics, a Rustler and a Stampede that I am replacing parts that my son lost when he had them.
