I'd been wanting to try and put a camera on my RC's for some on board video forsome time but have had a tough time justifying strapping an expensive camera to a truck that just may have an accident at a high rate of speed and destroy said expensive digital camera. Lately I've been looking at the cheap sub $50 cameras at places ike Walmart and finally found one for $30 that I wouldn't cry about it getting splattering across a parking lot and did a test run in the store with it today. I mounted it inside the body on my brushless Stampede

and shot the video through the windshield of the above body.

It's far from perfect and would probably be better if I mounted the lense outside the body. I may cut up the "passenger side window to allow the camera to stick up through it.

SO, what do you guys think?

BTW, that hairy, blue and fleshtone blob is me:wavey:
would definatly be clearer out side or through a hole. What camera did you get joe? 30 bux for a video cam?
I picked up a Digital Concepts 30690 Digital Video Camera from Sakar International. It's just a cheap flash memory still/video digital camera that runs off 2AAA batteries. I'm not too sure what cost more to make, the camera, the USB cable, or the packaging to be honest.
