not sure if this was right place to post it since i did not see a tab for q & a about figuring out wich r/c you got

but figured maybe some one on here can give me a hand
i just aquired a old kyosho rolling chasis a bit abused but with a little work it can recover well,the one thing i did notice about thjis buggy/truggy is that wheel nuts are not nuts,but screws that screw into the hub,has the kyosho center diff setup as well as 4wd,one strut on the rear diff to chassis in the middle,motor mount has the sub plate that is attached to the chassis then the actual motor mount mounts to this ,allum silver shock towers,gold or bl;;ue shocks it has both colors,blue front,gold rear,oth then that it could fool me that ift was a inferno sport or something,but with the screw in wheel nuts that would make it pre inferno

the inferno MP6 was the last kyosho to have screw in wheel nuts, thats probably what it is.

yeah,i figured i could modify what ever i needed to use to help it get back up to par,

thats probably an inferno and if you just clean it up and dont do any mod work to it it may actually be worth some cash.

well the guy i got it from already did some drilling in the chassis near the edges where the side guards would mount,at the moment i'm working on the engine,and mounts,but will get to the rest slowly to check,clean and replace or relube the diffs,and check the other suspension parts to see whats still usable and what needs to be replaced most likely a complete screw kit and some lube and i think pretty much it should go together nicely

finally getting it down it's from 1996 some type of st
going to drop about $200 in kyosho parts, only thing i have to decide if i want to change out the center diff,since the new ones have the double brake accessed with one pull linkage,the old one would require 2 seperate ones which i can not figure out to get set up properly,
but after i get the drive train setup,it should look alot more pleasing,only issue now is i need new diff cases and the type on it are a bit on the very odd side,but after i mess with it i'll get it up and going,if i can get into roar specs i should be able to race,maybe in the antique league? LOL

lol, if you're buying 200 in parts...I would just go the extra mile and get a new kit if you wanna race. If not I would keep it on the shelf as an antique.

it would be nice to get it going,may be old but not dead ..... yet,LOL
but not for a extra mile but more lilke 2-3 times the miles more i could get another kyosho kit
so i would stick with rebuilding this one,not in any particular hurry,i like working on projects,only prob with them is i finish and have to start another one

Lol, well, for 300 more you could get a comp kit. something like that, the Kyosho ones are like 300+ over priced...
