Now I know this isnt the typical place to post suck work because honestly I am not sure if you guys appreciate this stuff.
this is a little project I am working on that I got from a customer of mine in trade. Hopefully as this progresses it will be one hell of a scale crawler when I am done.

Damn, thats looking too good to wheel!
bad ass dude!
Looks like you have a good start. You might want to ditch the CR-01 chassis and use an aftermarket to try to get it more realistic looking. I like the detail work on the inside.
Almost done with all the seats. I decided to add some seatbelts to the front ones for now

get out. where did you find that? Thats way too cool man
seriously! were in the world did you find that! can we get a size comparison with a quarter or something!!
Its a micro machine. I replained the micro machine and I made the TX out of balsa wood, a dremmel and some wood files. added the antenna with a steel hat pin that are found at hobby lobby. glued the one to the TX and heated up the other one and melted it into the plastic body and painted it white.
Man you have a great vision. I would never think of that.
Worked on more of my project while waitng for other parts.

Finished up the back seat and added the seatbelts and Nick Rummy made this Racing Fuel cell for me and I painted it and put it together today. And yup, Those are scale bolts in the top. Not sure where Nick found them but they look pretty sweet.

Wow man, that is just soo darn cool!
Makes me wish I was unattached so that I could play like that again.
Did some more building to my CR-01 today.

Did the mock up of the front and rear bumpers and they are off to Nick Rummy to get all done up. also finished off the roll bar with some padding. Just wainting now for the shell which was done by Todd kerby of TKcustoms.

Lookin good man. You gonna drive that thing or show it lol
CR-01's arent really that great for competition crawling. its more of a scale build for show, but it will do the crawl once its built. I just wont really be doing a whole lot with it.
Worked on it some more last night. Got the new gearboxes built and added all my upgrades to the shell. Todd (TKcustoms) did an awsome jon painting it.

A little bit more on the detailed update of the crawler.
Turns out the chassis I purchased for this isnt going to work. so that will be on another project. I was going to have Nick make the bumpers for me, But money is a bit tight so I decided to keep it a bit more scale and true to me doing the work. So I added a stinger, put on the winch, made a couple of magazines (one you may recognize), made a first aid kit for them rough encounters, Jumper cables just in case, Night sac for them cold crawler nights, Detailed the ole micro RC truck, Couple of tow ropes, and a map of colorado, Got rid of them ugly proline covers and decided to go with my own. And of course I cant for get the beer! So hope you all enjoy.

I really like your attention to detail. Very cool. Smile
OK, a little more on the update. Still working on the jiffs with the chassis but I am getting it narrowed down. Got my shackles and hook from scaleoffroad today. Looks very scale! Found an excellent way to make mounts for the shackles which worked out perfect. the bumpers had circled areas where lights would normaly go. I tapped out the centers and drilled them out with a reamer and an exacto blade. and I had these body posts from back in the day that were for a T Maxx. They basically would sit on the top of the original posts and when the body would seat down, there would only be a small nipple sticking up. lol, yeah I said nipple! anyways they woulded out great and I was able to place a cotter pin through them on the other side to secure them and then added some super glue. Popped the shacles on and screwed in the secure pin.
