Obama won't get our guns.... the re-appeal of the DC gun ban was entiirely too strong for them to fight... this was an interpretation of the constition and the right to bear arms don't forget....
as far as Obama in office, I believe a bunch of people made a huge mistake, it was easy for him to blame Bush for everything and proclaim that he's going to change the world, but as someone said, one man does not have that much power, so to me, all of his political buddies helped him out (including McCain and Obama) for the shallow, the accusation was easy to follow, but in reality............

by the way Jeff, Barrack at best has been mixed on his gun control.... I looked into this, he sponsored the last big bill in IL to ban most guns a few years back, but currently isn't going after them, other than a couple of stupid (imo) comments that he's made, I believe he isn't going to make this a big issue for now. And besides, to keep him in check he has a VP that is a gun owner if I'm not mistaken (and a hunter also?) hopefully better than Cheney, lol...

If your guns are over 10 years old, you are safe, because no one has to keep records on transfers of them longer than that. I sold all of mine 11 years ago, and just purged the records of who I sold them to.

Obama is Anti-gun. When the Heller vs DC case came to an end, Obama commented on how he would try to appoint Supreme Court Justices that "Have a different interpretation of the Constitution". Luckily, the Supreme Court Justices are Voted on, by the people.
A comment was made about it being better that the entire Congress (Senate, House and Presidency) will be better off because they are all the same party. This is EXACTLY opposite what everyone was saying 2 years ago at the last Congressional election. It was a Rep Senate, Rep House and Rep President. People said there should be equality in the Congress by having 2 parties involved. Look back, the biggest part of the present economic struggle we are in started AFTER the Democrats took over the House and Senate.
When people questioned Obama about his inexperience, he claimed that experience wasn't an issue, yet one of the first things he said when McCain chose Palin as VP, was that she didn't have enough experience. Why all of a sudden, are the tables turned?
Obama played a HUGE part, before he was senator, on pushing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to make those High Risk loans available to people, regardless of visible means of income. Having them sign into loans for 103%, with no money down, with no proof of income. People were walking into loan offices flat broke, walking out with a house and a check for $3000 and an explosive A.R.M. But they didn't care about the rates, they had money now.
On another note, as for Obama being muslim, if he is, or isn't, what is the problem? Not all muslims are "Radical terrorists". Just because they have different religious views, doesn't make the whole religion bad.
With Obama's plan to pull troops from Iraq, there will be more bloodshed by American soldiers than there has been the entire war to this point. Pulling out 2/3 to 3/4 of the soldiers right away, leaving the rest behind to till safe to pull the rest out, is a suicide mission for the soldiers left behind. (The info on Obama's exit strategy was relayed to me by a friend in the Army, who served in Iraq.)
Oh, and as for 45's, I really like my Springfield XD....

The supreme court is not voted on by the people. They are voted on those in congress after the president appoints them. He makes his pick and then they get their 'interview' or more like grilling on the hill. Only then can they take their seat if I remember all of that correctly. But I do know WE as people of this country do not elect people to those seats. We do for our local courts but as for federal,we do not.
Besides. There will not be enough of them stepping down during Obama's term at least the first one. So nothing should change for at least 4 years in the way the top court will vote anyway.
Everyone knew that once the Democrats took control of the hill. Our government would hit a wall. Neither party would work together and on many things. They didnt. At that time,many people wanted out of Iraq so they put the Democrats in because they said they would get us out. But seeing Bush was still there. Everyone should of known nothing would of gotten done without the GOP's help.
The finger of blame can be pointed at just about everyone from those in DC to average Joe's on the street. Advisors,staff,'market pros' and those who signed on the line to buy that house as well as everyone in the middle.
The main blame should be placed on those who controlled those who play on the market. Those who said 'yeah,lets take these bad loans,wrap them up and put them into a group and sell'em on the stock market. So they ended up making double their money if not more because they sold like hot cakes because the economy was great,no signs of going bad. Well then those arms kicked in and the monthly payment hit the roof. So now those people clearing $40,000 less a year and paying off a house that was close to half a mil cant make their payment and lose the house. The market gets flooded with all these foreclosed homes and no one wants to buy a new one cause they can get that 4 bedroom home for pennies! I should know,I hope to find a good foreclosed home to buy here soon!!!
So wall street,the big bankers and the average dumbass joe are the ones to take the full blame if you ask me. All of them knew what they were doing and did it anyway. From those on wall street and in the banks who saw nothing but $$$$$$ and didnt give a rats ass about nothing else to those stupid tards who KNEW they couldnt afford the house but bought it anyway.
Everything will rebound. Doesnt matter who is in office really. Once the large amount of foreclosed homes are bought up and the rate of how many are being taken drops. New homes will become hot again and everything will change back to how it was before. Its already happening before we all voted. Used home sales were up the other month and then new home sales were up. So once the pipes are cleared out,once the inventory is down and the home market loses all the fat. Things will change.

I can't let it go. It was purchased new buy my great grandfater. passed to my granfather than my uncle now me. And it'll still blow a hole in sh!t too. kinda scarry though shooting it being old as it is lol without the right amo.

this was always my dream gun, I remember looking at them in magazines when I was a boy.... one day I found one with a decent price and had to have it, I've got mine in .223 with 14" barrel and mine is a first generation, it has the cool etching through it and will handle all calibers, it's just a wicked pistol.... and it caused me to buy one of their rifles.... very sweet firearms, good shooters and the customer service is outstanding as well!
