about the site and how it's slowed down, how could you not notice it....we would have 200-300 posts in 24 hours a few times a week...and 100+ on regular days!

I just got back into racing, just got a new platinum Revo. Went to the track once so far.....TALK ABOUT ADRENALINE!!

That's what it is for me about this hobby, ADRENALINE!
Man seeing all these old names on here makes me all warm inside LOL Ok well not really. But I do somewhat agree with Rocco all that money seems like a big wast to me and to think I just spent a but load on all new stuff to sit in my basement collecting dust. Just dont have the time nor the energy to put into the stuff. 2 brand new EB mods V-specs just sitting in the boxes and I dont even know what they look like LOL

It would be nice to make it out to the track one of these days
Gabe,

Now drop a Nova P5 in that Revo and GET SOME!
I still don't mind the money I've blown on my RC, what pissed me off was going through the HotWheels and other diecasts I bought then I worked at Toys "R" Us for a garage sale we had in May. I couldn't believe some of the just plain crap ones I bought and in multiples no less:confused:Confusedmash: Between that and getting rid of some of my plastic models (more of a "herd thinning" than "What the hell was I thinking?" thereWink ), I had the E-Revo purchase covered:joy:
I still jump on every day or so, but with 2 kids now and no cash and time....
I havent bought any thing new in years. Ive hit bob woodhouses once and will prob go again soon. I just dont have any input on new goodies. If I get my dream job that im currently shooting for this may all change. we will see!
I'm with Rocco on this one. These days, I simply do not have the time and more importantly the money to keep up with the rc hobby. I've been trying to clean up all the credit card debt this hobby put me into over the last year. It's getting close, lol.

Easily the most expensive hobby I have ever gotten into.

The memories are priceless and I will never regret the two years I was doing it. I still have all my stuff though. I started up my truggy a month ago and drove it around the street. Still runs good!
we can blame the weakening dollar and the economy for this...Its sad. hopefully we will be able to do it again, more, some day soon.
still got that werks pipe on there that you never paid me for you dirty greek bastard lol
thats what makes it run the best is the free pipe
Even the hardest core racers revert to street bashers over time!

JK tune.
You mean he actually didnt pick a pipe out of the garbage on stick it on his Revo ???

Hahaha Dimo............I'll never forget that shit.
that was hilarious! I honestly thought he was gonna either punch one of us or cry from the ribbing we were giving!
LOL. I got thick skin and can take it. Tell you what. Lesson learned! Haha!

Yeah, still got that pipe czech. I though I paid for it when I paid for my bodies? I don't remember, lol.
figured you would rather err on the side that kept you from paying lol chalk it up as a loss now....atleast it was never trampled in the dirt. Feel free to go jump garbage cans on the baseball diamond with it...Smile
What did i just read?!!!??? You mean after the better part of two years of badgering, bitching and! complaining in post after post your just now going to " chaulk it up as a loss"? Even after he admitted not paying? Wow mike you've lost your edge. I personally think you should drag it out AT LEAST another six months.

Mwwwaaaaaahahahahhaa!!!

(insert post were mike says he buys all his own stuff and his only income is painting bodies because he has to go too school. Oh and throw atleast three "F' words in it!)

Hahhahahaha !
Word
phuck urself rocco Smile
I guess the Mike Czech Angst is wearing off?
that usually happens when you aren't constantly surrounded by assholes
Lately I have been having the urge to build up another revo. Go from the ground up and build a dominate truck. How is the racing at leisure anyway? Turnouts still low?
AT the moment that are low on sundays. last time I race buggy there was like...a mixed turnout of 7 random vehicles. During the winter, you're lookin at like 60-80 guys. buggy and truggy, never see MT anymore, except sometimes bobbo kicks truggy ass with his Revo. ( I still have mine...but its lacking servos at the moment)
bullshit nobody goes to leisure even in the winter, most of the time on club race nights theres 4 heats
well...around march/aprilish, I raced on a sunday there was like 7 heats of buggy. Turnout has gone down, economy goes bad the first things to go are hobbies...Sad
Ryan, I just started racing a Revo again, the best bet is to pick up a Platinum Revo and tweak from there. It literally comes ready to race out of the box.
I've got the urge to build a crawler.... been eyeing them for weeks now. No racing or anything to that level. Just something to mess with in my yard and get my son into it. =)
