Sorry I'm new here and don't know if this has been posted before... What kind of cars/trucks run at this facility? I have a brushed Stampede with a 19T motor, and a Rustler with a 20T Motor... would I have any fun racing? Are there any rules to what you can have done to your truck?
Welcome to the forum.

I'm not an authority on electrics, but I do know that more guys are shifting to brushless motors and hi power (lipo) battery systems.

19T class trucks do still get run, but I think it's better suited to the indoor track, which runs during the fall/winter season.

As for fun, it's all fun if you have fun and enjoy the challenge. A Stampede will not be able to hang with race-ready trucks, but you will still have fun and you may get the urge to move up in trucks to something that interest you more after you race against other guys.

If nothing else, you can certainly get on the track during open practice days and see if your setup is suited for racing before jumping into it on a race day.
Dave, I believe from what I heard, electrics stay indoor year round now.
cool. also good to know. I don't get out much.
pony. the trucks you have listed are great beginner trucks. in teh winter months lhr has a good rookie class. usually 1-2 heats. im not sure how the summer electric turnout has been. this weekend is the rcpro series race and the indoor track will be closed. like anything fun is what you make it. if driving your rc on a scaled down motocross track sounds fun then you will have fun. one thing i will add is be prepared to be a little frustrated it seems as it is a little more difficult to navigate teh course than many will believe. even the fast guys crash.
