Anyone hear about this 4wd nitro slash?
Yea, it's a narrowed 2.5 Revo reworked to fit the Slash body, wheels and tires. Here's the into on their forum
TRAXXAS - Slayer (#5908) Promo

I didnt see any other thread on this. Im glad i didnt pick up the slash cause i gotta get one of these too!!!
...Okay now that is one Spec class I would definatly go out and get into...Trophy truck racing is the best. Also I bet a 17mm Hub Conversion so you could run buggy tires would work, cause I bet stock tires would have no hook inside leisure. but the only problem I see is the old-driveshafts from like a tmaxx are being used.

I seen that they have a class of the Slash trucks in Cali and they've went to Pro-Line Dirt Works tires and they work great they said!
for Clay?
Hmmm not sure, didn't think about that? Could always use some panthers and narrow them up? That's what they did with the Dirt Works was narrow them!
This is weird! People are liking the new Traxxas stuff. Whenever I am at the track racing my B4 or T4 I hear all the other guys talking shit about Traxxas products. It seems like most people really like the new Slash and Slayer. I think I will buy a Slash because it sounds like I may actually be able to race it!Big Grin

that defeats the point of a spec class. run it how it is and deal with it
2 seperate statements in there. Deal with it :p:

the slash is electric and the slayer is the nitro version with a revo chassis and 3.3
My bad, wasnt really up to date on the latest and greatest and thought the slayer and slash was the same. Cool truck
Looks like there will be some conversions out there. Seems like the only differences, are the suspension arms and turnbuckles. A little different setup on the Reciever box.
