Anybody ever try one of their diesel conversions on a car or truck?
Never mind, they don't run pump diesel in these motorsSad
There is a thread on the traxxas forumes of someone who bought one.
The deisel is still 30$ a gallon
So it defeats the whole purpose to convert to deisel, if its not the pump deisel, which is about 5bucks a gallon, you might as well just stick with Nitro.
Yup,that was my thought on it too!
has anyone tried the conrod they make for the 3.3 motor? does it effect performance being so much more bulky?
Don't know. Supposedly it's stronger, but if it screws with the air/fuel mixtures blend and or adds additional rotating mass to the engine, would it be effective?
Might make it stronger but you're losing the rev and some efficiency since you're losing that knife-edge cut on the rod.
i talked to this guy who answered there phone and he talked my ear off for about two and a half hours, i called to get info on the possibility of using there head on an old motor, during the entire convo i never got my question answered. they are a little strange over at davis. products seem good though. i might be converting a 4.1 from hpi
