Sick ass bike man.
Thats really sweet! If you don't mind me prying... How much would a bike like that set me back? I've been thinking about getting a bike with gas prices the way they areRolleyes
This one being brand new set me back $6,800. You can find used ones from $1,500 up to really expensive. If your lookin for a bike just to save on gas and maybe joy ride around on every once and a while then id suggest the ninja 250. They say it gets roughly 75mpg and its a great bike to learn off of. This bike can roughly get around 50mpg if I drive it right.
$6800?? Damn thats awesome, the 250 dirtbike i wanted was that price lol
nice!
sick dude whens the funeral?
Smile
Nevermind Lol
No funeral Mike. To much common sense here to be doing some of this stupid shit I see.
Mich, never say no... all the dumb ass people that you have to worry about.
I rode for a very long time and will never again. To many close calls and none of them my fault. Its not if you go down its when you go down.
Yup and thats why I got most of the gear now. I just need pants and some boots. Im also gonna be taking a class to further gain knowledge on how to better be safe out there. My theory for riding is just trying to get the hell away from any and all cars.
good luck with that......
Ryan, classes are a great idea, but in the long run, experience will be your best teacher. Ride smart. My closest calls came from people in cars not seeing me, and now with people constantly on their cell phones and playing with GPS system, you really need to drive defensively.

My worst near fall came just slowly turning a corner, and the loose dirt and gravel near the curb nearly dumped me. You learn these things over time.

I wish you safe riding and good luck from other drivers.
That's one of my biggest pet peeves is when people don't treat motorcycles with respect. I give them just as much room as a car if not more. they share the road so don't be a @#$@%@#$%@ #@#%!% !% to them. Big Grin
+100

If you rearend a car at a light you bend their bumper.

Rearend a bike at a light and you might kill the rider.
I've always been told the safest way to travel on a bike is with a group. Easier to see multiple bikes on the road than just one.

I used to own a 2000 honda cbr600. I almost got run off of the road several times by drivers who didn't see me. Usually in traffic when you have no choice but to ride next to someone. It's dangerous out there, be careful!!
Just put an open header on it and never take it out of second gear. You'll get noticed.
loud pipes save lives

congrats on the bike, I've been tryin to get a bike for 3 months now. Banks and dealers don't seem to like me.
have you thought of a collared shirt? lol Smile
lmfao
Bahaha...

I already got a new exhaust comming tuesday. Yoshimura. As of right now I cant hear the damn bike when im 5 feet away from it. Thats just gay and has got to go. When I get this bike up to 6 grand and higher I want everyone to hear me.
You'll shoot your eye out kid!
