statistcly if you check your insurances, red cars are more of a liability. not sure about more about being pulled over but it;s a possibility
Sorry you are WRONG....

My best friends dad has been a state farm agent for 28 years and i just called him. They in no way use color to determine insurance costs.

Some factors that DO determine policy costs. Drivetrain (4wd) Body style (suv, sports car) and repair costs are just a few he named.
I just remember seeing something about that on tv not to long ago. I dont remember what it was from but I remembered that and just mentioned it.
GREAT car. Such an amazing car at an even more amazing price! If I was in the market for a new car in that price range, that would be IT. Every magazine compares it to the BMW 550i, and its half the price!

Congrats man, enjoy the hell out of the car, I know you will.

I heard that having a red car costs more for insurance, but never knew whether or not it did.
well, I was just guess.

But statisticly, someone has crunched some numbers somewhere. Im willing to bet cops will go after the young buck driving the 'Ferrari' red car first, Lol

either way, it's all situational im sure.
I never got pulled over in my red mustang, but my yellow one was a like a rolling doughnut shop. but it was also a 11 sec street car compared to the high 12 red one lol
Also just being a GT the car will cost more to insure

Somebody must have struck oil in his backyard!

Great looking Poncho!

Umm... so is the mazda for sale? I need to save some money on gas!

Nope. This car is cheaper to insure than the mazda! A $100 cheaper every 6 months. I couldn't believe it when they told me (state farm)!

Mazda was given to the parents. They took over the payments. They were shopping for a car for my brother to have at school, I gave them the easy way out, and they took it. No muss no fuss for them.

I thought the same thing...very BMW like shape from the side, and Pontiac swiped the split front grill design from BMW about 30 years ago!
G8's are great cars, built on the Holden Commodore.

wrong there, Pontiac and BMW have both been doing the split grill for a LONG time. Its more along the lines that both companies went with a split grill seperately. Both split grill designs can be traced back to the beginning of the century.

1929 Pontiac Roadster, notice the split grill.

1932 BMW 303

The split grill had gone through changes with both companies but its pretty much something that both companies have done. Pontiac did not emphasize it as much, some think it may be due to World War I being that BMW is a German company.
You're right I'm wrong.
And I won't bring up how much Corvettes have style-shared from Ferraris over the past 50 years.
It's all been done.

Ferraris? You meant BMW. My Boss had one of those Isetta's. I hated having to work on it cause it was too small for the lifts. Can you imagine the looks I got test driving that thing by Ohare.
