Awesome, when did you go up there, today (Sunday)?
How'd you end up finsihing Dominick ? Was there a big turn-out ?
There was a VERY good turnout! I think they had an E-Main for the buggies!!!! Over 60 total racers...Several running two classes. They ran 2-7 min. quals and a 15 ,20, or 30 min. main depending on class.

Dominick was in the B-main I think. I remember he was driving great whatever race it was.

As usual, Chicagoland crew was well represented-but not in the numbers I'd expect for such a great race. The weather was great and the track was amazing! It did get a bit rutted towards the end of the day but not bad considering how many races were held.

Matt Simpson got 2nd in the MT A-Main (by cheating with his new truggy LMAO!!-just bustin' on ya Matt). I had to settle for 4th in the A but ended up with 2nd in the WORPS series for MTs and got my first trophy. Whoopy doopy! LOL!!!

It was a great time and I really wish we had seen more of you guys there....
Satoch,

Great job on the 2nd place overall. Still a great accomplishment!
Congrats dude.
Good job guys!
Smile
Nice job Bruce on the 2nd overall!! As far as my cheater truggy Smile I was happy with it. Buggy class was brutal i ended up in the c main. There were guys running 13 laps in the A main and guys running 13 laps in the c main! some stiff competition. The day wasnt without problems my truggy was eatting clutch shoes and my buggy in the main was acting up...it was like the gas wouldnt shut off in the turns, I need to look at it and see what that was about. But had a great time. The track was perfect.
It was VERY stiff competition! I gotta say, the buggy guys were workin' hard for those positions. It was a Genuine Pro Level race. All who attended should be very proud. I am of them...
Matt you should have talked to me about the motor in the buggy, I know how to tune that out of a motor. Can't give my secrets, but all I can tell you is people were asking me (who modded your V-SPEC?) all day. Motor is not modded, just tuned. People were flaming all day, temps between 260 and 330 from what people were telling me. My spec was running 225 and was prob the fastest thing on the track, also guys were running out of fuel at 5 1/2 minutes at those high temps I was running 8 1/2 minutes.
Hey Dom, I stoped by Matts yesterday, he told me the problems he had in the main. He picks up the buggy, pulls the slide and the carb falls off. Hope it wasnt to dusty...That motor is probably toast..

I cant believe the thing ran till the end...

My VZB is a cool screamer also, very easy to tune.
Wierd, my over heating and tuning probs were the same as Matts' that day! He was pitting right next to me and knew about my probs.

Well, I'm writing a checklist of things to check between heats for now on. It's always the stupid, little, easy to fix things that bite me in the ass...
