Failsafe Not So For Me :'!!( Just Started The Car At Idle , And Turned For A Second And Zoom, Gone. Took Off!! Turned The Controller Off And Iinn Ssllooww Motion The Car Raced Away. Straight Into A Very Large And Deep Water (like) Pond. Got Motor Started And Heated Up, Put After Run Oil In It. But What Can I Do About The Receiver And Servos. Not Having A Good Night.
open the cases up and let them dry out. Don't use them for like 24hours
Thats about all you can do
OK I will let you know what happens. After 24 hours and things work will I have to worry about any other problems
Open up the diffs and change the oil, change the bearings. You're electronics may be fried even after drying out. Change the glow plug. Dry the foam in the tires.
I wouldnt say you need to replace the bearings. Just like use some lube on them. like clean them with some dry ice or something..,(Its a lube not the Frozen C02)
open cases of electronics and put in a bag with some rice (will suck the moisture out of the stuff...just like putting it in a salt shaker)
dry out the electronics then spray them down with a GOOD electronics cleaner, let that dry then do it again. With my boats and my trail truck Im always getting stuff wet. Its not the water that does the damage... its the minerals and impurities. Pure water doesnt conduct (yes I know that contradicts what they taught you in science class)
Ditch the failsafe. There crap. To get the moisture out of the electronics I would put them in the oven at like 150-200 degree's. Ive heard of that being done with great results.
Yes Distilled water does not conduct electricity.
After The Blow Dryer ,the Whole Rice In A Bag For A Few Days, And Cleaning. The Servos Are Alive, And The Reciver Is Working As Well. Hopping Not See Any Miss Happs In The Future. Thank You
thats good news man.
