I have an essay to write.
It is our "test" for the book Into the Wild.

Our topic is

Write something that means something to you.
Make a connection to the book-somehow.

I'm just....lost as to where to start.
Thats why they call it homework brother! You have to read it to achieve it. I would love to give you my opinion but that would be cheating.
since when is cheating wrong????

Poncho I didnt read the book, but the topic is basically saying, AFTER actually READING the book, try and find a situation, character, etc. in the book that you can relate to on more than a superficial level. Now this isnt like when you stay up late with a flash light writing in ur diary about that guy you like kinda thing so, you can't use anything like that lol. Look for common themes motifs symbolism and bascailly BS about them and how one relates to everyday life. This sounds like the kind of essay that after you re-read it and its so sappy you wanna puke you will prolly get an A.

Sparknotes is your friend
Got it.. Thanks Big Grin

Actually finished it earlier, but that kind of reassured my thought.
Ponch, for the record. I wasnt bashing on ya!
Sometimes the seeds of knowledge are the roots to truth!
Those of you who know of the book understand what I am saying!
Good job figuring it out!
