I see alot of guys with some beefy Alum Skidplates on their mugen T's and R's. I've been trying to find some but I can't. Any assistance?
You know if the plate will go on front and rear?
No idea.
I just emailed the guy so we'll see.
What do you need em for? I dont think the mugen needs to be upgraded at all
Mugens chassis wears pretty quick in the rear, a skid would help.
Skid Plates are a must. Outdoor its even worse. I'd rather a 10$ piece of metal wear away than a 60-70-80 dollar chassis plate. >_<
Update: The Skidplates will in fact mount front or rear. Mugen Drivers, if you don't have these, they are a must.

Mine dont look worn at all with like 4 gallons, idk tho.
check out neobuggy, there are some new plastic ones out now that will be much lighter
I'll check it out. Didn't really consider the weight being added.
But plastic will wear quicker, right?
they come in 3 packs, claim wear like alum; prolly cost you half the price and you dont have a hunk of 6061 draggin the ass of that truck down any further lol
yeah I'll probably order a couple packs. So I can use it on front and rear
im gonna try the ones from AE on my RC8 and maybe compare the two
