Believe me man.... I know the feeling. Coasted through high school, crashed and burned in college. I'm in the middle of changing my major and rebuilding at the community college down here actually.....

Man, sorry to hear that Dan...University can be rough, I seem to recall, but I can't remember much from that far back......
Yep. It's life. I'll get through it. I probably should have thought my major choice through a little more. I loved the concept of engineering as I have a pretty analytical mind, but I didn't think about the classes that went into it. I hated them all before so why would that change? I am looking at switching to something Bio/Science related instead. It's still not easy, but I'm interested in it at least. It will just make a U of I degree mean a little more to me when I'm done knowing what I went through to get it. Live and learn.
ya the classes for engineering are well, imagine getting kicked in the balls by an NFL punter and you are not even close LOL
About accurate. I was miserable. Even when doing well I hated it. Thus, it's time for a change. We'll see what happens. I'll have a degree in something eventually. Haha Don't know how far I could get without one....
You can get pretty far without one, but it sure helps keep you in the running when all other job applicants have one and you don't.

Bio/Health Sciences is forecasted to be a strong demand in the job market. Jobs that deal directly with people, and not just data and ideas, are harder to outsource to off-shore companies. You can't have a dentist work on your teeth from Pakistan!
