Guys,
I got the opportunity to try out this course a few weeks back....it was cool. Here is a video of a comp at that course. It gives a really good idea as to another style of indoor course, and elements that can be incorporated.

I just watched that on RCC and figured that was the one you were talking about because of the 15 second clip where the guy goes into the tunnel and turns around.

Cool!

Oh and gratz on the BigSquid position!

THANKS!!
Those were some wicked trucks. That track lookes hard as hell! A lot of time went into that!
It was fun to play on that course for a few hours on a quiet Sunday morning. It has some difficult parts. I am certain that the 1.9 guys have a harder time with it than the 2.2 guys. This is the course where I shattered my front input shaft INSIDE the axle housing. This place plans on building a large outdoor course as the ground thaws. The place was cool....and the owner really was friendly.
where is it? proximity to joliet
about 6 hours due EAST.....it is SOUTHEAST of Cleveland. Near AKRON, OH. I go to that area for work.
wow. I was hopeing it was a little closer lol
Sweet course and sound track, what did they use for the surface?

It felt like a concrete mix, but it did not flake apart. IT might of also had some fiberglass in it. Tires did not really tear it apart.
there is a mini build thread over on RCC for the course....I almost want to say they used dental plaster.
OK, I wondered if it was some kind of plaster.
