I just came from speaking with the owner, he is very excited to be hosting the event. They will be putting in a temp extention to the course which shows realy good promise. They have allot of supplies in stock and will be setting up some tables for repairs/lunch. This event will be FREE. Come out, have a good time!!!

By chance... do they have a slot car track?

Sounds really cool. I know they have a nice Demo axial crawler for anyone to try out in thier store. The guys working there are friendly and knowledgable. Think I will have to make it out there to check out the competition. Should be sweeeeeeeeeeeet.

Have they done anything different with the course? Can't wait for this one!

Yes and no.... if you go up there right now its realy no different... The day of the comp it will be. It will still be all rock but it should be more fun and larger come comp day.

I might make the meet though.

They made the course longer and added some nice obstacles and what not. Even have fancy color rocks that would be right at home on a fancy patio or fire pit at my house to show off. These dudes are really making a great effort for a cool competition that is totally free, no less.

Went over there the other night and it was cake. The Jeep just about laughed at what ever was in fornt of it There was a few rocks that got in the way that I know Jeff had something to do with...lol

would I ever make things more difficult??? I plan to tear down about half of that course Saturday morning and rebuild it... I'm hoping to eliminate the avalance hazard and make driving skill a priority.

Did you have any problems with your wheels staying on... I hear your trucks suffer from spontanious wheel loss.

I have a simple solution...Im not going to fix it till Saturday...that way I cant break it ahead of time.

I wouldn't wait till the day of, then you'll break something that nobody has with your luck.

Tomorrow I reconfigure the battery and get all the electronics nice and neat. I had to make sure everything worked though so I just threw it in there for now with zip ties lol

The hobby shop might have some new ones there. They have a good stock of crawling parts.

I have a couple bodies laying on the top shelf...kind of ugly and hacked up but Ill try to remember to throw 1 in.

I meant that my Ax-10 body is not finished yet. Id be more interested in paint from the store or if they have that bug body I might pick that up. For Sat im just looking to slap something in there to save my RX, ESC from the rocks. Jetboat, If you could remember Id appreciate it.
