I took a very long break last year to due money shortage. Now I'm back in school and rc funds take a back seat to educational costs.
As expensive as everything is getting I'm supprised the results are what they are

Pretty much exactly what i was thinking!
If I didnt have this I'd have about nothing that excites me...Maybe im new or maybe my life sucks...

The economy blows lets face it. but this takes me away from all the BS politics and economy situation for a few hours I guess,

I really don't think the economy is to blame here. How many of you have recieved a cost of living raise lately? The money hungry businesses of the usa are whats killing us. They charge more for their products but don't pay the employees who make them. I work with guys that have not gotten a raise in 7 yes7 years. I was due in dec. Nothing yet. I really can't blame the goverment for my boss or your being a money hungry you know what!

Amen brother! You took them words right out of my mouth! I'm sure it'd be great to sit at home and not have to worry about how I was goin to feed the family and all! But me and Jeff can't do that eh buddy!
Nope I work 60 hours a week so my owner can buy ANOTHER $150,000.00 boat lol. I hate that man
Yeah me too, some bigwig at Waste is able to buy some uber expensive Harley that Jay Leno was auctioning off so they can haul it around the country to show all the employee's! Yeah ain't that a kick in the nut's! Jag's!
at least you don't have to adjust the carbs on 2 yes 2 pro mod 502's for the bosses boat. I asked him one day how much gas it used .........his answer - 2 gallons to the mile! race fuel! must be nice. He sat in the shop one day and one engine wasn't running right and got pissed and pinned it untill it threw a freakin rod. Then walked in the office and ordered a new one. I went and pooped in the corner

Now that's funny! Sounds like he needs a new hobby! Boat's don't seem like they work for him! Confusedmash:
yea he's a jag. Were not allowed to talk when we work lol
Just disposable nothings lol. But hey, The bills won't pay themselves, And have you seen what companys are starting at anymore? Geesh If I left where I'm at I'd have to take a 3 dollar an hour pay cut. Gotta d what ya gotta do. till the lottery numbers roll out right lol
3 dollar pay cut, more than that if I left Waste! But my boss always tell's me when i'm pissed off "You don't need to be mad if the boss ain't mad!" Yeah whatever! :moon::moon: Oh yeah just did what we talked about too! hehe
....Talk about wastes of life. This country has become that. Its the greatest if you're rich, its not so great if you're not. The income gap is large, there is really no middle class anymore. It makes me mad to talk about that so I won't.

I live with what god gave me. I ain't rich and probably never will be. I work damn hard to have what I have, and wouldn't trade it for the world. I have a family that loves me and a couple bucks in the bank. I'm not rich but I definatly am not poor!

+6485694369034 on that man! Big Grin
Im happy but, at the same time...the world around me disgusts me. I think you can relate to that
I think if you spend smart, and don't live beyond your means, then anyone can save up money. I just believe in money well earned is money well spent. Well, most of it anyway, you need some for emergencies, or future purchases Tongue.

You must have never been married? Or divorced either, that right there drains ya out pretty much! Child support, all that fun stuff! I just make sure my kids have what they need and rc's for them too so they have a hobby to keep them out of trouble! Big Grin
Money well spent, would include kids for me. Nitro is way better than drugs and alcohol. IMO ;D

I know that feeling real well. Over the past six months my only involvement in the hobby has been stopping by the forums once in a while and buying a few parts....thats it. Overload at work, two deaths in the family, lots of stuff to work on/fix on the house, assistant coach on my sons baseball team, and maintenance on the boat to ready it for the summer. Sheesh. My Mustang hasn't seen the light of day in over a year, my Supermaxx and CRT are still apart......Thankfully I've kept my REVO in one piece! LOL!

Love the hobby...just can't find enought time to fit it in. If this keeps up I might have to consider selling off the Jammin CRT and maybe the Supermaxx. Time will tell.

I use to do that then the time and travel to find a legal spot got to much.
