Hey all. I was wandering if the vantage carbon chassis for the revo is any good?
I had one on my 2.5 a while back(before the truggy days). Lost site of it and ran it under a car. The chassis held up. Only thing that was damaged on it was right behind the second(rear) motor mount. A small crack that didnt go all the way thru.

I was pleased with how it held up. So it should do just fine for racing.
Thanks for the quick reply i was thinking of getting the extended version of it.
Bobbo runs it on his revo that weighs like nothing. Lol.

I don't trust myself enough to run something like that.
It will hold up. But I took mine off because the truck felt TO light for me.
Well, too heavy is bad, too light is bad too. Especially when you up the power.
I had a OS .18TZ in when I did that. I dropped back down to the 2.5,then a 3.3,but I had the stock chassis on by then.
3.3 Rips like crazy.

You read about the new OS 21TM? I was looking at that but its like 300 bucks lol
I am out of MT's so I dont keep up with what is going on with that stuff. Anything more then a 3.3 in a revo is started to reach overkill. Those RB's and .28s..Thats nuts if your going to race it.

I heard that the stock revo motors dont last as long as other motors might. But then again,at the cheap price they sell them at. Its not a shocker and not so painfull if you replace it once or twice a year.
My 2.5 Lasted a year before a bearing blew. but I was just getting into nitro so I think I wore it out anyway due to a bad tuning skill level. Lol
