Mario galaxy is a cool game. Its like nothing I ever played before.... Still getting used to using the two remotes but its cool.
Tried a Wii last night, had a bunch of fun. Trying to convince the parents to let me get one.
Tell them its a way to get some exercise! George got one and its pretty shweeet!
said on the news that u only burn about 2% more cals than playing regular video games....
Why do you have to be a fucking wet blanket with everything? Jesus! Yes, Yes, i heard that too... BUT its was an english study, who trusts the english!? Hehehe
- Tennis: Coming in a close second, Wii Tennis was the runner up in calorie burning activities for Wii Sports. I burned an average of 92 calories during a 15 minute period. Like most of my game playing during the experiment I played each game fairly aggressively and would perform full swings, move left and right, and not take any breaks.

- Bowling: One of my favorite Wii Sports games also clocked in at the lowest of the three games I tested for calorie burn. I burned an average of 77 calories during a 15 minute period. Again, I played aggressively, taken steps toward the lane and bowling with a full swing of the arm. No breaks were taken and I played the game fairly quickly.

- Boxing: The clear winner here. I burned and average of 125 calories during a 15 minute period. I would like to point out that I would punch with full power, move as if I were really dodging, and hoped/bounced around like a real boxer would.
i wonder how many calories masturbation burns?
KISSING: Kissing can burn around 120-325 calories an hour, or around 2-5 calories a minute. Engaging in long make-out sessions with your partner is not only good for your relationship; it is also good for your waistline. A 10 minute make-out session with your partner each morning and each evening could burn up to 100 calories a day. Thats 36,500 calories a year, or just over 10 pounds worth of weight loss. When was the last time you made out with your partner.

UNDRESSING: According to an Italian professor, even undressing can burn off calories. Unclasping a bra with two hands burns 8 calories, while unclasping it with only one hand burns up 18 calories. Unclasping it with your mouth can burn 87 calories.

ORAL SEX: 15 minutes of oral sex can burn off the calories consumed in a long sip of wine. There are calories present in semen, though, so if you swallow, there are around 7 calories in a teaspoon of semen. Since the average volume of ejaculation is 1-2 teaspoons, you can expect an average of 7-14 calories per ejaculation. That will easily be burned off during the course of your lovemaking, though.

MASTURBATION: You dont have to have a partner to enjoy the calorie-burning effects of sex. Masturbation can burn up the calories, as well. You can lose between 100-150 calories for each act of masturbation, according to the Young Peoples Reproductive and Sexual Health & Rights Organization. You can raise that amount to around 300 calories, though, through a 5 minute vigorous masturbation session, according to Japanese scientist Dr. Shukan Tokuho.

INTERCOURSE: The average lovemaking session burns between 50 and 100 calories. Having sex 3 times a week burns 7500 calories per year. Thats the equivalent of jogging 75 miles. The more intense the sex, the more calories are burned: up to 15,000 calories annually (at a frequency of 3 times weekly). 15,000 calories wquals over 4 pounds of weight loss per year!

ORGASM: Experts estimate that an orgasm can burn between 60-100 calories.

Hahahaha.... Can't believe I just looked that up.
I would lmao if a trainer put masturbation in as a part of your workout hahahahahahahahahahaha
man so lets see 300 cals times 4 times a day times 7 days a week times 52 weeks in a year = 436800 calories and a whole lot of wrist and elbow problems!!!!!!
Soo... My parents have always been Nazi on their 'no video games in our house' policy.

I sent them this about the Wii.

"While I was at Johns the other night, his brother left with the Xbox 360 and all we had was the Wii. I thought it would SUCK but it was actually really fun. I started looking into it last night, and I think it would be a good way for the family to come together and get exercise while having fun all at the same time. I know your guys' strict No Video Games policy, but we tried this "Get up and Move" kind of video game a few Christmas' ago with a dance pad thingy (which turned out to be cheap and cheesy), but this is actually decent and has great reviews and ratings.

I actually broke a sweat at Johns (and I was surprised too, haha) while I was playing tennis and it was a BLAST.

During these winter months we can't get out much, since it's so freggin cold, but this would be a good alternative.

I did a little research to see it's actual calorie burning potential, and I was surprised- This information is from the same person who did the "Super Size Me" video.

With bowling, he burned an average of 77 calories in 15 minutes.
With tennis, he burned an average of 92 calories in 15 minutes.
And with boxing, he burned an average of 125 calories in 15 minutes!
So if I boxed for an hour (not hard to get lost in) that would burn 500 calories! A whole meal practically! And just a side note, playing football or jogging only burn between 130 and 140 calories in the same time.

In his month and a half experiment, he lost 9 pounds, and his BMI went down 2%! I could easily match that I bet, all while having fun.

It's not high impact or anything so it should not mess with my back.

And also, at least two nights a week I'm stuck at home with the girls. This would give us something to do together which you always nudge me about... It would wear them out and then they would be ready for bed when you/mom get home.

I sincerely think this could be a way for our family to come together for some entertainment other than watching reruns of Hannah Montana and a way for me to lose weight.

Please look that link over and see all the information presented by the author, then let me know your viewpoint on this idea of mine.

Matt"

And here's what I got back from my dad, the extremely strict one.

"It sounds like a lot of fun. It is probably expensive so we would have to save for it.

I would like to see more information on the system before I commit to budgeting for it.

We will talk about it when I get home.

Dad"

So yeah. Pretty excited. lol.

And it sounds like they want to pitch in on it...which is cool.
wow they ARE nazis
While reading that I felt like I was reading an ISR request at work for equipment! Do you need to submit a PO too?

My parents weren't strict other than the fact that I wasn't allowed to play it during school nights, My Atari and Genesis were weekend machines only.
Wow...It does sound like a bid for a new piece of equipment. Kinda sad...I feel bad you can't do whatever you want. Yay beig 21
Haha... Yeah... It's pretty "formal" I guess you could say, but if I threw it all together in one paragraph they probably wouldn't have taken me seriously and actually read it.

Now if only my research papers for school worked that well....lol
ya really wtf dickhead u put all that effort into a paper or some homework and maybe they will buy it for u cuz they want to lol
happy to see that i could help this thread. =]]
