Diverter Valve for my car. Haha It like a blow off valve, but recirculates the air back into the intake. I am getting a great deal on a refurb direct from the manufacturer. My car is black, as is most of the engine compartment. Do I go with a black one and keep everything clean and quiet, or a nice polished one??

if everything else is black, then go with black. otherwise it may stand out toom uch.
I'd say black, unless you're gonna chrome out more pieces.

Blow off valves are fine on automatic cars. Thats not the reason it is a diverter valve instead. VW uses a diverter valve on their turbo cars because it essentially doesn't waste air. Why vent to the atmosphere when you can put it back in the intake? And black it is. That's what I was thinking as well.

diverter valves are mostly used on cars that are equiped with a maf system. i reccomend the black so it doesnt stand out.
