Hey everyone. I just picked up a mugen mst-1 with enough spares to build 2 more. Is it even worth trying to put this thing on the track or no. The guy I got it from said every week they race gt and there is 12 cars. He said he usually places 2-3 in the a every week. I've heard so much about gt's being the best to learn a track with just curious. Btw I know that the gt2 is the real deal but I got a hell of a deal on this thing so I had to get it. Would of been dumb not too
give it a try if it breaks you said you got parts for it.
U get it from big Al? lol
no I got from greg on rctech.net
well al ran his at lh for awhile did pretty well with it, but its discontinued now
Yea I know it is discon. But I guess I seen mugen still makes parts for it. only the truck they stopped making
truck was pretty good. i ran a little drag brake indoor and i did ok with it at the rc pro series finals. ira has two of them and some parts that i think he would like to sell.
Get the brass idler gear and the once piece aftermarket top plate that strenghtens the front end and the truck is good to go.
ira has the chit and it was good enough that i put it in the a main at the pro series finals in rockford last year. he has lots of rims/tires/parts.
the one I got has a complete upper and lower chassis and the stockers too. also comes with 9 sets of rims and tires (mostly new) and enough actual parts to build 2 complete rollers without chassis.
I'll check to see if it has that idler in it yet.
If I break more parts than that, I better stay off the track lol
