ok what if we were gone, what would take over in our place? insects, ape, plants, etc. this is kinda like pot talk so chad should do well here.lol
What caused us to be gone? It influences my thoughts....if global warming wiped out the environment, killed the agriculture, resulting in the demise of all mankind, MAYBE some other biological entity survived? I'm going with deep sea lifeforms....they survive on their own so far down now, they would make it through whatever gets all of us.
Then the bastards would crawl out of the SEA, and take over our s*#$.

'Craaaaab People Craaaaab People, Walk like crab...talk like people'

I hope someone gets this...Southpark anyone?
Hahahahahahahahah!!! Yes, I saw the episode.
I'm with Dave, deep sea life would make it
i will get to the right frame of mind and let ya know....Wink
I change my answer............it's so obvious.......the machines will rule the planet....Terminators serving the Matrix, of course.
Lol, I've thought about that from time to time. Its a long way from having sentient machines. But im like 'I'll be gone, I dont care right now' Lol
But what if they keep your brain alive in a jar, and you had to think for them?

They could keep you enslaved forever.

Could happen.
good questions, i say we go with a twilight zone style and 50 years from now no humans are on the planet. dont know why, but the earth is fine no wwIII, or damage, just no us. now what is at the top of the food chain? do we see apes riding horses, maybe insects??
machines building machines?
maybe machines find a way to speak to animals and use them as slaves.
monkeys giving sheep the business since Al is gone. GIGGITY GIGGITY GI_GA_T
Why would machines need slaves, unless they were lazy machines?

hmmmmm?

I think cats will rule the planet. Dogs are too needy. Without people, dogs wouldn't have any best friends.
i would think the machines at first would not be the dominant life, use the lower intelligence life forms to build a MASTER RACE OF MACHINES. and then wipe out all that stand in the way. or not
well if there was going to be no humans at all, just one day boom gone i think the wildernes would start to take over again
i agree but would plant life become self aware.
do reptiles evolve into dinosaurs kinda a full circle thing?
how about mars learns that all the #8 fans are gone, and the humans, so they take over. ack ack ACK ACK ack.
i dont think they would, that would be kind of a de-evolution thing dont ya think? I think the majority of animals would get bigger than normal as they would have less artificial predators and would not be so crowded for space. I think after oh say a couple hundred years when the citites and everything left behind by humans was fully deteriorated and there would be large plains and stuff where cities were that would soon turn back into forest areas. Lakes and rivers would get cleaned up. All or most of North America would end up being like Canada, if anyones been there you would get what im saying. As far as drastic evolution, I dont see it happening in North America, possibly the rain forest, africa or south america
naw that would never happen, it sounds too logical. your making way too much sense here, smoke a little first.lol
alright gimme an hour or two and ill rethink this lmao
i kinda like post #19
"Without people, dogs wouldn't have any best friends."

Dave, what about Mogs??? (Spaceballs reference)
" im half man and half dog, im my own best friend"
