Dates: First weekend of Dec. So 12/1&12/2

Bernie says full details should be up soon about the race..
sweet! I gotta make this one up there Smile
I should be making this one. That is if I have my new engine by then.
I want to say the turnout last year was 120+. But the results from last year are no longer on the LHR site. I would say that is a safe guess for this years turnout if the word is put out enough.
is this basically the same as the bernies bash just a different name?
Just about.
sweeet, first big indoor race, I will deinitely be there
I will be following you...Wink
koo koo
sweeeeet
thought they were doing the fall classic first?? like early november, maybe not?

definately gonna make this one, last year was fun
Maybe i'll try and make it to this one too, at least throw myself to the wolves!!Confusedmash: Yes a basher wants to race once and a while!
No,the fall classic would be going down like this weekend or next. So he decided to skip it and just go for the Dec. race.

I hope he plans something up after the new year.

December 1 & 2 2007
Well that didn't work. The entry form is on leisure site. maybe someone can get it posted here.
Only 20min Amain??? Something like this,I would think atleast a 30-35 min main. If not 45min even.

Didnt we run all 4 quals on Sat last year?
ya thats lame
Drew. I'll start with the three Q on Saturday. If we get a big turn out like last years 144 I want to be able to get done at a reasable time. I can always add a Q without p ing everyone off. but taking one away or staying til 2 in the morning may.

A Few people say they would like to come and race but can't come on Saturday. so a Q on Sunday would allow some more people race. We alway have some people who don't come back on Sunday because they hav'nt done well on Saturday. Well a Q on Sunday may bring them back.

Now for the 20 minute A mains. I always have lower main guys who are not happy because they pay the same money to race but get a lot less time to race. And then too We have people who have a long drive home and don't want to be here til 10 o'clock then drive 5 hours home and have to be at work by 6. So we made to lower mains 10 minutes, B's 15, and the A main 20. Also Longer mains seam to have more drivers falling out and only a few racing to the finish. Shorter main may have a better race to the finish. again Drew, We can always add time to the mains if the turn out is low. but will not take time off the main if the turnout is big.

Thanks Bernie
guys complaining about less track time? tell them to qualify better wtf
amain 20 minutes....?
at a large race the a main should be at least 30 min. 5 min more than the weekly club race is lame.
I think Bernie has the right idea, lets just wait and see what the turn out will be and we may even have a 45 minute main. No one wants to race till 2 AM if the turn out is high and I know the out of towners wouldn't be happy. Nothing is set in stone from what I understand. LETS RACE BITCHES HAHAHAHA!

+10..

Tell them to drive better LOL.. There are 2 bump-up spots in every race. So they have a chance to move up. If not, then go home and practice more. Not everyone can be a sand bagger like Chad.

I do understand bernie with what you are saying. And I was thinking the same thing. But I waited to see what you were going to say. Doing it this way allows you to play around with times and such all depending on the turnout. Just like you did with the Bash back in Aug.

+1 with atleast 30min Amain.

B-20min
C-15min
D and lower-10min?
