Well My Purple Mugen box is no longer working. I'm sure it's not the batteries and it's not the wiring could it be the motors? I recently dropped a screwdriver down by one of the motors and it's not magnetized, I'm thinking this is what caused it and am just wondering if this is the problem what replacement motors I should buy.
Mikeh had a link to an electronics supply site that sold generic 550 motors for CHEAP....hit him up for that info.
y not just get the stock ones if they turn it over fine?
How much are they though?
look it up
I couldn't find it on A-main, B-main or Tower. I'm assuming they're aren't too much more than $20 though.
Any 550 motor will fit.
Ok so I could buy some cheapo E-maxx motors? Cool beans you can get those for dirt cheap off of ebay.
I'll sell you my mugen box if it don't work out, $45.
Ponch I'll think about it because buying new motors is only saving me $10 compared to yours. I'll let you know.
make sure the little brass posts are both touching the little middle post when you press it down, may have to take it apart and bend the little tabs in.
They are both touching I checked that to make sure it wasn't a contact issue.
Your switch bad?
There is no switch on Mugen boxes.

did you check to make sure there was no build up on the brass ends?? i know I had this problem becasue dirt got burnt onto the metal to metal contact area and caused an incomplete circuit or w/e
Well as I was trying to turn the motor over by hand I noticed the cb moved with it. Then I tried to spin it and no luck. Confusedmash: There was a clutch shoe knocked out of place and it was catching. So the box was trying to turn over my motor and the truck. So I charged the batteries last night and am going to see if I can't get it started this morning.
so you thought your starter box was bad because of a locked up motor in the car? http://www.i dont know what im doing.com
lol
wow....dont u let the starter box come up to speed before bumping your car on it?...
hey let me know the next time your box is dead and it wont turn over your motor, i can sell you a used ninja.lolol
