john, ken, rod and i are in for lh sun, maybe ira?
is leisure hours indoors on sundays or out doors. btw im in im just wonjdering because i dont want to bring all my tires with
My bet is indoor
Too f'in cold for outdoor...
I hear a high in the mid to upper 60's, But that wont happen till later in the afternoon. So for the most part, the temps will be in the 50's. But if the wind is going. Of course it will be colder.
yeah, its gonna be indoors, ill be there with the new truggy and buggy
hey whens the next race?
Next sunday.
ok whos in for next sunday at lhSmile
Me.
i might be in depending on the weather and i thank all those who marshaled for me if it wasn't for you id have to run around like a chicken with my head cut off.
Me too, me too!!!
oh and whats the tire of choice for truggy i seen everything from bow ties to the losi tire to switches being used yesterday
on buggy most are running the 2.0 switch clay tire with a molded foam insert
on truggy i see some running the boas but it looks like they are making the truck too tight in the center of the corner, unless you make the tire very round. i like the switch on the truck... jimbo ran losi taperpins on his buggy
most people dont care for a loose car in the center of the corner,so go with the boas
good to hear chad, havent seen ya since st louisBig Grin
i run switch 2.0 clay on the buggy should i run zero offset wheels or stick with the half offset for the truggy. im new to the whole tire truggy deal
with the mugen you could do both, but then you'd need buggy hubs. dont change the width of your truck, and if you need o offset, i have a set of switches on white dish rims for sale
i have a crt and everyone says on tight tracks with mugen ball ends you can fit 0 offset wheels on. it narrows the truck but they say it turns amazing
what is the difference between running a zero offset rim and a half offset rim? what are the handling characteristic differences if its stays the same width
Well from my understanding of it you would lose a little in stability but it would turn a lot better it would actully be around the width of the ST-R. I'm not sure if that's correct but I'm pretty sure. Also with the Mugen ball ends but put them on the truck they're a direct fit.
try it, it may steer better but its all give and take, you will loose stability
