oct 20 and 21st dave
he asked what time, im not sure yet tho
what kind of stuff do they have at the expo can you buy stuff there or is it only to see new stuff comming out
Public can buy on Sat & Sun. Only Hobby Shop trade people get in on Thurs & Friday
Most booths do not sell bu there is still plenty of places you can give yer money too. Usually at a decent price too. Lot's to check out though. I hope they have the rockcrawling pile again.
Last year I bought a couple paintball guns at half off. We have so much fun with those things!
Yeah. If you go on Sunday, many booths are looking to cut back on the shit they have to pack up and bring back with them. Most are selling at least something.

There are shops that show up and get good buisness there too, and prices are usually right around or below normal.

So pretty much bring money.

Ivve never found anyone selling ANYTHING worth while at that show...
Well no, they're selling smaller cheaper things to try to get new buyers into RC
Don't forget that most trade shows like this are focused on the manufacturers
getting new products shown the hobby business owners so they will stock their stores. Being open to the public doesn't mean they are bringing stores with intent on selling to the general public.

They always have stuff for sale at the ihobby show.

Wasn't very good last year, not many mfg's and a poor turnout. It used to be much better.
We all went as a group three years ago. We had shirts made up and everything to rep ChitownRC. It was fun, about 12 of us met up there in construction orange shirts.

yup.. most of the RC companies pass up the I hobby expo and opt to go all out for the RCX instead.

RC Expo LLC

a couple more years and I hobby expo will be nothing but a static models and trains show. Sad ohh well its an excuse to go to Cali and take time off work to hit up the RCX show. hmm..
That stinks. Does RCX ever leave Cali?
They did have it planned for chicago a few years ago, but cancelled it.
