i have a cheap dynamite box that i have been using well trying to break in the engine for the truggy the wires are pretty much shot as are the crimp connectors. the box is currently wired in series and i have heard that wiring in parallel with give it more power to the wheel. so wich way should i wire it. i plan on using deans wet noodle wire and deans plugs. any tips for this?
A series will give you 14.4 volts where wiring in a paralell will only give you 7.2 volts.
well im talking about going to the motors. there will be 14.4 coming off the batteries

I knew Matt would dig that picture up (or the one Jerry did showing real starter box wiring)...I was too lazy (and still am) to go look for it.

ok mine had the motors in series but ill change that ill run it like the picture has it. thanks for that
Well right now there's no motors in the pic. What you want to do, is take the positive end and wire it to one end of your switch. Take the other end of the switch and put it on one of the contacts on the plunger. Then take the other tab of the plunger and run that to the positive tab on one of the motors. Run the negative lead on that motor to a terminal on the other motor. Take the remaining terminal and hook that up to the negative on the battery pack.
wow i was out of it when i looked at that. ill just rewire it the way it is
series is what you want not parallel...............series gives the motors more juice
thanks tex ill rewire it how it was and solder everything and switch it all over to deans connectors
