Does anybody have or used an os .30 vg? I just bought one cause i heard they are good powerful and easy to tune motors. but i just wanted some others opinions.
Thanks
Good engines, better warranty. Sometimes they have air leaks at the carb neck. Strong motor that pulls surprisingly well at the top end.
should have gone with the .28 [Image: pat.gif]
my friend runs one in his truggy its a great engine

$120 price difference, at that point you might as well be buying a Rossi.
My bet is it will be about a month until we start hearing about some weak spot with the os 28. Bearings? It's a given that any new mill by OS willl be munched up by the masses.
that os .28 is retarded fast man
Ill Take Two !!
yeah them new .28's are fing amazing why buy a rossi? the v-spec is right up their in the price range as well and ppl. run them vspecs all over the place....a local has the .28 in his 8ight and good god watch out!

Its the same price range. Right now I'd choose the 528xr over the OS simply because the 528 has been out for a long time.

But given time I expect the OS .28's to compete right up there. They are marketed at the same price range.

Pitting a Vspec against a 528xr in a drag race is a bad idea. The 528xr will walk all over it. Assuming they are in the same car. I run an 18th CB in my truggy and I haven't found another truggy or buggy I can't walk yet.

But in a buggy a Vspec or P5 is plenty, even in most truggies they haul.

It does look very nice, and is definitely an engine I will consider when I wear out my current 30vg engines (I have two).
the 21 is more than enough for the truggy. unless your on good traction like out in the street a 28 is just going to light up the tires off the corners.
