...not me...Wink
I didnt do it
wasnt me . anyone see that movie rocketman couple years back the two guys are on mars hooked together with there space suits and the one lettin out some nasty gas and keeps saying it wasnt me.
wasnt me
Found out something...Either the oil was too thin, worn out, or underfilled (I'm guessing it was a combo of the 3) in the shocks. It seemed thin, black, and the shocks were only about 4/5 full. Now filled with correct oils and feels better, doesn't bottom out from a foot drop any more.
hmmm, but can you drop it from 3 foot like mine and it not bottom??? Wink

thats good man, good idea to put a small piece of air filter foam under the bladder too just to help it from compressing.
we'll put some foam under the shock bladders and make sure your setup right on sun
hahahah ^^ beat ya....Wink
God I feel like Meatwad right now...Not gay but just getting alot of help setting up shit lol

And man, those bladders are marble sized...Huge mofo's.
good service....Smile
Anybody that's got some calipers handy, what is your amount of preload clips on your shocks and shock length f/r?
bones level front and rear.
Ok what I got on there right now for preload f/r=6mm/3mm
And overall shock lenght, from screw head on bottom to bottom of threads on top, f/r=103mm/126mm.

I'll check how it sits in a minute.
with the car ready to hit the track /with fuel ya bones level and the droop should be at 10.5 mm from the bench to the bottom of the a arms while the car's sitting on two rims
Bones level front, about 1mm above in rear, but that's no gas, wing, or body.

Lost here a little bit...Ok so put rims on all 4, no tires. Where am I measuring this 10.5mm at? Near the chassis or near the hubs?

ya lost me with the threads part. the shock end should b screwd all the way on and with the long gray springs your car should have 9 up front and 8 on the back. look at the plastic spacers they are marked 1,2,3,5,8
to measure the droop remove the wheels from your car.place the car on two unmounted rims ( not stacked on top of each other) measure from the table to the bottom of the a arms, all the way on the ends
Ok so I'm missing a hell of alot of preload right now. I'll pick up some more clips tomorrow at lh.

And thanks for the explanation in post #167, makes sense now.
the a arms have a small set screw that goes down to the chassy it takes a 2 mm wrench as you turn the screw clockwise this will make the screw come in contact with the chassy and you are now adjusting your droop
dont know if ya got long springs or the stock ones
I'm familiar with droop and how to adjust it Wink

Yes, long grey springs.
the shocks should be in the middle hole on the towers and outter on the a arms f/r. the hubs need to be in the lower hole. did your car come with directions and a setupsheet? if not we'll get ya some
ok and what swaybars do have on the car?
and the only 2 tires i use outdoor at lh are the panther gator when the track is not loose or dusty or the k2 both in the ms compound

Shocks are as you say above. Not sure what you mean by the hubs need to be in the lower hole. Are you talking about the rear ones? Right now, they're in the hole closest to the axle, there's still a set of holes below them...So I should move the hub up by putting the pin through the lower hole? I have the prospec manual, it's the one that's like 5 pages thick. No setup sheet but I can print that out.

Up front right now I have 2.4 and in the rear, calipers say 2.8, no sticker on it though.
