Post the worst thing you did to another person's car. It can be your parents, or your friends, or a rental car, but not your own.

At the ripe old age of 16, with 2 months of driving experience under my belt, I determined I had complete knowledge of driving already in hand. I proceeded to drive my mother's Pontiac GrandVille in the snow. Sliding uncontrollably, because my in depth knowledge of driving and physics left me unable to correct the slide, I slammed the rear quarter panel into the local park fence, causing untold damge to the car AND the fence.

Many thousands of dollars later...I learned that I had much to learn about driving and about making smarter choices ABOUT driving.

next....
a month after getting my license i was driving my mom's lexus ES300 to school, about a block from my house all the shit fell out of my pockets and I was reaching under the seat to dig it out. I proceeded to hit a parked car at about 15-20 mph and roll my moms car onto its side. Suffice to say i never drove that car again
Last winter I took my moms envoy out when it was snowing, since it was AWD. Well, I was on the highway doing ~30, it was slick as hell out and I was being cautious. Well, somehow, I managed to spin out and do a complete 360 on the highway coming within 4 feet of the center margin thing.

And I took her bmw up to 115, with her in it, she almost killed me, but she wasn't that mad, it was incredibly smooth at that speed.
Spun out in the rain in our manual f150, did a complete 180 in afternoon traffic, managed to NOT hit anything at all...It was actually pretty sweet.

Then I backed up into a pole with the scion.
redlined my moms cavalier now it has rod knock. what car these days doesn't have a rev llimiter
Well I was doing ~60 (and my parents don't thing I was going that fast, as I never told them how fast I was really going) on snow covered roads that haven’t been plowed yet (I live in the country so the side of the road has a good build up of snow from other days of it being plowed). Well I was running late to school (college), but I didn't get very far, I slid out maybe about 1/2mile away from my house (more like got side ways, overcorrected it, slid the other way, overcorrected it, repeat about 5 times (I was close to saving it until I was sliding 90* from which way the car should be going)). The best part was that the car wasn't damaged at all (a 2' snow drift helped slow the car down before hitting any trees), and I am still driving that car.

I would say I had a lot of luck that day.
I creamed an 85 year old guy in his Century.....I was in a 26,000lb 24ft box truck.
His trunk was in his backseat and he was laying on top of it.

He was OK with scrapes and that's it....

I got out of it at court also and all the guy and I said was 2 words. He said "not sure" and I said "I did".
i was driving my uncles 1998 lincoln mark 8 to the mall in the rain. i was stuck behind some sanford and son truck that was doin 40 in a 55. so, i backed off a lil so i could see around him. once i saw that there was a clear shot to pass i started accellerating to pass. i didnt jump all over the throttle cuz i knew it was a high powered rear wheel drive car. my mistake was when i went to pull out to pass him at bout 70mph, i jerked the wheel to hard and sent the car into a spin. i lended up passing the guy backwards before the car finished spinning into the ditch on the other side of the road.
ill never forget the look on the guys face as i passed by him, and im sure he'll never forget mine. it scared the crap outta me.

meatwad chit.......
^^gotcha
I backed into a pole in a parking lot and dented the door of my Mom's Lincoln.........before I had a license and obviosly without permission to be driving.
Few years later I borrowed my brother's mustang to pick up a buddy from school. I let him drive it on the way home........we hit a semi and totalled it. No injuries at least.
Wow, I must be one of the few people who hasn't done anything bad to a car! Never been in an accident that was myfault, all involved someone hitting my parked car. I've had is speeding tickets, but got supervision on all of those so they aren't even on my record. Lucky me.

Worst thing I can think of is when I did a 6 grand neutral drop in my old Escort wagon and destroy it, this was just before I dropped it off at the dealership. Car still drove, but slipped very badly. We still got our $100 trade in value. Smile
prb. would have gotten 200.00 at the junk yard...^^^^ at our local yards if it can drive in its worth 200.00

I was 17, she wanted to trade it in for a new car, and thats what they offered. So I did the neutral drop because I consider any car with working AC, reliable, and no rust to be worth $800 regardless of miles.

Nothing was wrong with it, it had 127k on it, plenty of life left. And she just took the trade in. So I made sure it was worth $100.
$200? Dang. That's alot IMO for the yards to be giving out....

I haven't done anything to my parent's car yet. They have done worse damage to them.
well I didn't do it, but a while bak, someone hit ma sis and the cars fram was lie this- v

it was BAD, car hit her at 45 MPH and she was dead stop, so yea. she was fine tho luckly!
I know of 3 yards that give 200.00 no matter what..another yard gave me 300.00 for my 87 s-15 truck...and I even kept my wheels (they were chevy rally wheels off my old mans vete)

Yeah never did anything bad to my parents car, only mine. 89 Chevy Cavalier: sold it, 98 Plymouth Neon: Totaled, 91 Ford Explorer: Gone, 99 Explorer: fixing, and 80 Chevy C-10: just bought so still good.
well I've always had my own car...so...I guess I can say, I wore out the engine in my 89 Hatch Mustang 4-Banger. when I got done with it, it ran like a top, but had no balls.

1997 Nissan Sentra GXE, I wore out that motor. 150k Miles, ran like a top, got 27-28 mpg, but had no power.

I guess that's not terminal damage, but either way I couldnt stand driving a no-balls with the AC on car. I mean I had to stand on it to get it to move.

lets hope my new car lasts 100k miles before I get sick of it.
