No, 40 series
But i do have a new set of 2.2 Axial bead locks.
Dude that's sweet! Get a 55T lathe motor for it and it'll crawl about anything, ask stratcat! Very cool man!
well, i re built the front already. i used rear t-maxx links and gained another inch (insert joke here) and a whole lot of articulation. i can get the wheel over the can w/o the rears coming off the ground.
im going to try the e-savage gears first. if i dont like that im going for the lathe motor. can you recommend and brand?
Lathe motor=integy....omg the only thing you should EVER buy from them haha.
Thats pretty cool
Yeah, Ponch beat me to it! INTEGY! lol
Dude Sweet!! Thats some articulation. Nice mods.
Looks great...
Now the real question. I'm sure we all have seen (or heard) how much $ it takes to get a clod set up for crawling, and have decent articulation. What did it cost in mods to the Wheely King to get to that point?
I would say $65 for everything in the first pic...
$276 ($225 for the truck)
if you are like me and have parts laying around, even cheaper. i didn't really have to buy any of the links. i have plenty in stock.
also instead of using hpi shafts ($26 for one set and $15 for another) you can just get one pack of traxxas t-max half shafts, that way you can use the metal crosses rather then the plastic hpi ones. and save a hell of a lot of $
Bill, you know i wanted a crawler for my b-day right?
This kicks ass!!!!
