J-Dub..... Revos are great trucks out of the box, and tons of fun. However, many of us know this so you can really stop pushing them like a used car salesman. Some of us have bought them, bashed them, raced them, and moved on before you even got to the forum (Tex, Myself, Ponch, and more that I can't think of). Not trying to be an ass, as I know you really like your Revo. I can see myself owning one in the future again without being duped into buying one....
Hell yeah dude we need to go to HOOTERS!!!

Last time we did that was LAST ( Like 2006) JANUARY....
thats when dan got his special name

Big Grin

Why do I have a feeling that no matter what I do I run the risk of getting a different one if I show up?? Haha
IDK....It would take alot of planning to beat Frosty...Unless of course you do something obvious like wear a dress. Rolleyes

I don't mean to come off like a salesman, It's my thing. I hate showing up on Sunday and going home because there is no MT class turnout... hence the REASON I am even saying anything...and that's the only reason...Sad
honestly dude, its because there are soo many guys that go out there just to bash on the track. They try to run laps but just keep crashing because their stuff is setup up for jumping garbage cans or racing the bases. Dimo's revo, race revo, Tex's revo, race revo, Bobbo's revo, truggy class revo....BUT after that it drops off pretty quick and its not fun to sit there and run 75 sec laps. You really wont see the MT class around here, maybe for pro series and stuff but thats it. I dont like marshalling that BS either lol
...like watching paint dry...lol
no. its like watching corn grow, just to harvest in the fall.
depressing. I just wish a few people actually wanted to run an MT class.
Im so in for a bash Hooters session. Hell I may even run my mugen around some bases or over a ramp.

Revos were fun, but I get a bigger thrill from buggy/truggy, plus if you want to race you need a vehicle that theres a class for.
i would be up for it, ill beat the thunder turd
Holy Crap did Mikey just come out and say that... I mean we all knew it was true but wow now that he says so it's official Rolleyes
Just messing with ya Mikey
sigh...
ya MIKEY......lololol
So when is it?
Someone make a Hooters meet thread

.......Slack'n it up huh? I wish I could do that, but I just got a new(er) car.
I have a job, the wife doesn't....so there went all our "play" money. My job covers the bills but no play time....

spinning further off-topic.... I would add that stock/near stock Revo's (like mine) are at a disadvantage on the tracks that get built with buggy/truggy in mind. My pathetic stock 2.5R won't accelerate quick enough (I know I should change the bell and gears) to exit a tight corner and make a decent jump gap, so I am forced to roll through some parts of layouts that more powerful trucks just blip the gas and float on over. Now with a 3.3 engine it might be different...I kinda got less thrilled about racing with the Revo because of the limitations of it, and I didn't want to keep upgrading it. I bought a truggy instead (that I have yet to race Rolleyes).
the 3.3 will help immensly...I still have stock gearing, and its enough to not wind out, I think I may up the CB 1 tooth but thats it for outdoor. I run the center diff (short chassis, I had to modify it to make it fit, along with the brakes) I will admit I've spent untold amounts of money. But...In spite of the Cost...I still find Racing it the most fun. . .
