I just painted this up yesterday. There are some imperferctions, but they're barely visible. The flames were masked off with masking tape.:p: Tell me what you all think. I want the truth.Big Grin

I think it sucks....

it sucks that more people are painting their own bodies...it's bad for my business!

Seriously...the only thing I would say is, flames are tricky to get looking good. Yours kinda look like lobster claws, know what I mean?
Practice lots of them on paper until you get the look you want, then transfer it onto the body.

You didn't say, but I'm gonna guess this was rattlecanned..if so there isn't much you can do for fades or shadows, so no comment applies about the lack of these details.

For future, a a real simple tape trick that works great with spraycans is to rip masking tape so it has a ragged edge, and just start laying down irregular edges...then paint one color, take up the tape..paint the other color..this could have been done in rear area, or on the roof, to give the big black section a little more custom look.

All in all, black and red are classic choices.
It was rattle canned. I don't paint enough bodies for me to own an airbrush. It was my first attemt at a two color body, so I am proud of that, but I know what you mean about the lobster claws. You are the second person to say that. My next body for this truck will probably be painted by one of you guys here on the forum.
Here's an MBX5T body I was pretty happy with...

It looks good
why is the Mugen body on a TTR? o and I think the body looks plenty good since it's gunna get torn up in about 3 races
Cuz the ttr is Dave's truck.

I like that, even being simple paint like that, you did the window trim. It really is necessary to have a trim on windows on dark bodies like that or the window lines are lost...

yes, painted for a Mugen owner, but I wanted a picture on a chassis so mine got the job...
