Anybody know what would make a good servo for an electric TC running brushless?
Only buy FUTABA if you are from IL.............
I run a FUT9451 in my tc3 and it turns very nice.

agreed on both replies up top....futaba's work very well
Just about any servo will work...Doesn't take much to turn the wheels. The faster the better though probably, so anything with 90+ oz of torque and <.13 transit time should get the job done quite well.
Thanks, I was going to put a spare 625MG into my E4T when I get around to rebuilding it. I've put one spare into the WK (in conjunction with a reciever pack to back up the BEC) and I'm planning on putting the other into the Pede once my VXL system comes in. I do have one in my Mini-Cooper too, and the 625MG will throw that little car around like nothing!

sorry to bump an old post but is there some sort of Futaba Illinois connection?

I saw this thread cause I'm picking up a tc5 to expand my stable for 2008.
Distributed by Horizon Hobby in Champaign, IL....???? dunno
9550 futaba
jr 9000s and looky here i have one for sale.
We've been running Jr590's which are just fine at 40 bucks each, but just switched to JR8800's. Huge difference. If you have the cash, and race your sedan regularly, you'd like anything faster than .15, but if you are bashing I wouldn't spend a ton of money and just get the 590.

Speaking of racing sedans, if you are looking for a place 10 minutes from the Loop to race, come join us at Underground RC on Sundays. Open at 11am, racing starts at 1pm. More and more racers have been showing up. It's a fun time......

I wish I was closer to that place, i'll be looking for a place to get my feet wet on touring car racing. I work in the loop but live about 70 miles from downtown and take metra. I really don't anticipate heading all the way downtown on weekends as it is about a 2 hour trip Sad
