whats up all.

ive got a losi 8 buggy that im gettin rid of. im into large scale on-roads and helicopters now so i have to make room for the new toys.

*motor is a stock 427 with 10 babied tanks run
*jp2 pipe....got it when i got the new motor
*16 tooth clutch bell upgraded from the 14 tooth stocker
*upgraded front shock tower
*upgraded front chassis brace
*upgraded rear chassis brace

2 of the tires on it are toast but i am throwing in 4 extra wheels 2 of which have still good tires mounted on them.
i threw some servos in it so the buyer can pretty much purchase and start the buggy same day.
it has the stock body on it right now but will include a brand new unpainted body with it.

i will also throw in an igniter and fuel bottle and roto start for it.

so, all you will need to be up and running is fuel, and a reciever and transmitter.

i will have pics of it up tomorrow or the next day due to my camera crappin out on me but if you are interested in seeing it sooner....it is in a display case at Al's Hobby in Elmhurst.

Asking 350.00 FIRMConfusedmash:

my bad
is this the kit or the rtr version
blktransam Wrote:is this the kit or the rtr version

its the rtr with the kit parts
ah me pass thanks
thats wierd.....
you are the first person that ive seen that prefers the crappy rtr parts on their r/c's.

i dunno, maybe you didnt understand...

i bought it as an rtr.....crappy parts

crashed it.....took off crappy and broken parts

fixed it with all the pro kit parts...thicker aluminum good parts
I think he passes because the kit has more then just the front shock tower and chassis braces upgraded. There is a lot more stuff in the kit. Like the shocks, rear shock tower, etc.
Chassis is a big difference as well.

he has the RTR with all the upgraded goodies, said he would like to have the kit chassis
Tex Wrote:Chassis is a big difference as well.

i have the upgraded chassis....i just have not put it on.

the shocks are the same on the rtr as they r on the pro kit

and the only thing my buggy doesnt have is the upgraded rear shock towere which is only 30 bucks

so if the loss of interest is over thirty dollars....

well, it is what it is

no theyre not, the RTR have plastic black shock caps, where the kit has hard ano aluminum
kevinF Wrote:no theyre not, the RTR have plastic black shock caps, where the kit has hard ano aluminum

cr4sh_27 Wrote:huh...thats funny cuz i have the aluminum caps...but never had to upgrade

really? well maybe they upgraded them recently, I have seen the RTR in person and they have the plastic ones, the pictures also show plastic black ones, maybe they recently upgraded them to the hard ano ones then
