I got tired of putting a little piece of ply wood against a recycling bin and using it as a ramp. Every time i wood hit the plywood my car would bottom out just going onto the ramp lol. so i decided it was time to make my own ramp. ya so these are pictures of the final product its a good ramp and i can get around 8-10 ft of air. and i got the idea to make it adjustable from bigsquid rc so i can make it a big ski jump or make it really curved or slightly curved. After about 10 or 11 jumps i finally flipped my xxt but it sorta had a rough landing i landed on the motor and split the back of my chassis in two(uh oh). so now i have a sweet ramp with no car to jump it with i love my luck. the ramp i would say is 10 ft. long and 5 ft high i didnt measure anything i just did it by estimation lol. it took me two days to make. tell me what you think

lol i got a lot of air with a 19 turn motor now im gonna get my brushless to launch my car off it. a maxx going at full speed would be sweet

Maybe a foam block pit should be next......

lol who needs that. the concrete is a soft enough landing lol. i jumped it onto grass and it seemed to be fine except for my last jump. i think if a little stock xxxt can do it then savage or tmaxx could do it for sure

I say we set it up in the loop and jump Buckingham Fountain..

and if a Savage or Maxx can do it, imagine what a REVO will do!!

LoL you know how wide the buckingham fountain is and how tall it is the car would have to be going a bizzilion gazillion bajillion miles and hour and it would have to be able to fly to get over it. i just finished primering the ramp now im gonna paint it so i dont have to put that damn tarp on it.

If a 1/8th buggy can jump a house the Buckingham Fountain should be no problem. The gravel around it may be a problem though..

yeah it would have to be a hot 1/8 scale buggy with a super fast motor and a giant jump. I think it can be done.

That would be one bad ass video, get some half nakid women in it....we're talkin xxx main material

naw just get like 10 guys to run the ops, clearing people out of the way, filming, setting up the jump, stalling the cops, etc...

Plus I would do a test "pre-jump" at someones house so i could measure the distance, then measure the fountain to make sure it's do-able.

This would be a great vid, I guarantee it would make it's way all over the net.

I gotta have nakid women if I'm going to take a chance at dumping my buggy in the middle of a fountain..

the naked women will cost more than the buggy. lol Unless your a p.i.m.p like that.

lol the police would shut you down with in three seconds if you even tried to set up a ramp next to the buckingham fountain. it would look sweet when the car starts up and its shooting gravel behind it and it picks up speed. o and that video that that guy made where he jumped his buggy. he like only jumped it over his garage.i think the buckingham fountain is bigger. and you have to account for the 30 extra feet of water that gets shot up into the air. if you could jump that i would be amazed

I walk over to the fountain alot and I never see security over there. There too busy protecting their precious BP Bridge from dog crap.

i know that there are no police around there usually but if you were to set up a giant a$$ ramp then im sure they would come

that fountain does look pretty big, not the towered parts but the main width of the pool.

The bottom pool of the fountain is 280 feet in diameter, the lower basin is 103 feet, the middle basin is 60 feet and the upper basin is 24 feet. The lip of the upper basin is 25 feet above the water in the lower basin.
