I Know the Majority of you guys dont remember this lil' shindig but were still here Wink

Camp Maxx 12August 17th~19th St. Louis MO
What's the date for CampMaxx 12?
AUGUST 17th thru 19th are the dates or CM12. I can make those no problem as long as it doesn't rain. Several Chitown guys and I were planning on the first event but the rain killed that and nobody could make the later date.
I'd go if I knew I was off of work and if it was on a weekend.

Just cause I can't think of anything better to do than go bash my revo something.
Camp Maxx is a race track............Also August 17-19th is a friday, sat, and sunday
I'm off that weekend...I'll think about it.
I highly recommend it, if you have nothing going on then you won't regret going.
Just so you guys that have never been know- you dont have to be there friday night IF you cant make it. Friday has always been there so the far away out of toweners such as yourselves would have extra time to set-up tents and your pit area because its hard to leave early on a saturday morning race down here and start racing by 12:00 noon.

Plus you get the extra bonus of 1 night more of bonfire and drinkin with all of us Smile always a good time....
Are the campsites big enough for campers, Or just tents.
I may take a little weekend get away...instead of going to a 4x4 Rally.

are there any hobby shops near by? in case I need fuel etc

Depends on how big the camper is? A few guys have brought pop ups in the past and they fit no problem. Last year we had a 15 foot trailer in there no problem.

Not really. But someone usually ends up making a trip to the hobby shop anyways. I would suggest bring spares and extra batteries and fuel down with you.

I've been there 3 times and was never dissapointed! Always a good time! I'll see if I can make it down for this one even though I'm getting rid of all my chit.

It is 30ft, I may have a pop up by then.
There is plenty of room in the surrounting fields..... The only question is power I dont know if our 12 GA main wire can handle your trailer plus all the track lighting at night..... I guess if your not running AC & a frige you could plug in Smile

But If you have a gen then you dont have any worries...
Bump.....

Just under a month to go Smile the attendance is looking pretty good for this one.
I'm gunna do everything I can to go, I need some relaxation time!!....

Anyone wanna car pool??
update.

We will have a keg for friday and saturday night. Just thought you would all like to know Cool
If I can swing the time off of work and the extra cash I'll come down and be a camera/pit man. Tex if you want I'll split gas with you. Really don't want to be takin my truck down there. Gas would kill me!
cool Tommy... We'll take my car and split the gas, prolly like $30 each total.
I'll be going for sure! I don't think I'll be able to get off work on Friday so I'll be there really late night/early morning hours most likely.
oh yeah, Tommy....wanna leave Friday night say 6pm from my house? I live right by I55 and Weber

That'll put us in STL around 10-11pm
Works for me!
man this is looking good if all you guys show up it will be a good time for sure!

Just one question.

What will the majority of you be running because Im thinking of getting 2 sets of trophies for buggy and arena classes.

sportsmen and expert.
8th buggy expert for me....

I'm also trying to talk a couple more guys into coming. They have a trailer (camper), I hope it's ok for them to park that there? They have a gas generator (not too loud). They wouldn't need to plug in.

Is that cool Ram?
Sounds like a fun time. The rain killed it for me last time, and I couldn't make the reschedule.

Praying for good weather, will be there unless it looks like its going to do the constant rain thing again.
plenty of toom for big trailers / campers

lets hope the forcast stays clear Smile
