A GF that "hates" RC. I'm assuming you were doing RC before she came along.

How you going to handle this? It ain't gonna get any better as you go along in the relationship. Imagine when she starts "hating" bigger more important things in life.

Take a step back and re-evaluate.

Me and the boys cannot, ever, talk about RC anymore at the dinner table. We blew it a while back when we had a shock oil debate that went into springs then droop. The wife went ballistic.
LMFAO at the last paragraph of above post

Just so you know, in general, a "spec class" means everyone races with the exact same vehicle. Which means generally bone stock vehicle, just as the car came from the manufacturer.

That's the fun part of spec class racing. It's all about tuning ability and driver's skill.

It also means a much more affordable experience too.
i dont think everyone wants to buy the same OVERPRICED engine after 2 gallons.
then dont run the class ya whinny bitch god
Meat if you knew how to tune it that wouldn't be a problem! And they're not overpriced anyway! Money was no object to you before? Sorry Rocco, just can't stand the post beeeeeotch that he is anymore!
get one see how fast it breaks
god not even a week back....
No kidding! I'm outta here for the night since he's runnin up the nonsense posting again! Later ya'll!Big Grin
many people might not like to run a spec class because then they can't blame their equipment when they can't win or get better over time. A spec class really does sort out who is a good tuner/racer.

I'm not a great racer in any of the types of vehicles we race with but I do enjoy having close to the same equipment as the other racers and getting better over time, or every now and then having an episode when I'm in the zone and doing pretty well for the day of racing. Racing a spec class would make that even more fun.

right now my favorite race classes are:

Electric 19 turn off road truck
Electric Stock Rubber Sedan
Sportwerks Recoil
18th scale On Road
