It seems many off road racers don't run on road.

Now that Leisure Hours has a wonderful on road track up and running, and there's a bunch of parking lot races happening around town will off road people start racing on road too?

I mention this because racing around the Chicago area and talking with folks it seems there's stereotypes that people bring up:

on road racers: conceited

off road racers: hillbillies

Is it just me that senses this?
Absolutely not. Its totally true. I plan to give on-road a try so I will work hard to become a conceited hillbilly.
im getting an onroad together and I aint no hillbilly. Im still not gonna wear any shoes, or a shirt. Gonna have a beer hat on with 2 cans on the side. Gonna have lots of ducktape on board and maybe a wrench or 2. O yeah cant forget zipties. And also as I stated before. The black stuff on my feet is not mud/dirt/fungus or whatever else you wanna call it, its just a protective layer of earth to protect my feet from the rough ground.
Dude that hurts^ ^ ^ j/k
Yep bashers = hillbillies/racers
Or look at where all the true racers are from, up north, and most of us southerners are from the good old south! Just playin with ya Michowski!
I used to race in the parking lot at leisure hours store when they did that! I'd like to see a 10th scale truck class again, i'd be there for that!
some offroad guys are hillbillies some are the farthest thing from it, onroad guys are dicks and onroad guys are super cool its just like life u get a mixed batch
Very true Mike!
