nitro only SmileSmile

i got a TC31 http://www.proboatmodels.com/Products/De...ID=PRB2750

i actually have taken out the stock .32 (tons of air leaks) and am looking for a new engine, probably an axial .28 for it but it has been put on the back burner while i spend all my money or cars SmileSmile
yeah I just sold my fully modded out nitro vee...prb. going to get another prather
Thats a killer lookin boat there 4wheelin!
Did ya finally sell your nitro vee, transam? I wish I had the cash cause i'd like to gotten yours, was a nice lookin boat!

This one is elec, someday i'd like to get a gas one, for now this'll do!
if you want i would sell my boat, has everything except engine, the hull has bben reinforced by me with fiberglass (yes i know fiberglass) has several props and pratically a full gallon of gas (the stock motor was an air leak king and only got about half way thru break in before i took it out and threw the engine across the concrete, but it has everything else includding pipe and all mounting gear

an axial .28 will litterally drop in the boat, all you do is cut the pilot shaft part of the crank and mount the prop coupler in it

the stock radio has never even been used.

but i will sell the boat for $100 with stock radio or $150 with the Futab 3PM FM in it
Im into big gas boats!

what about the water cooled head that was on the DYN? that bolts on the Axial?
yeah I ebayed it and brought 3 something I dont rember.
Tex Wrote:what about the water cooled head that was on the DYN? that bolts on the Axial?

no need for water cooling head, there is airducts in the top that permit more then enough air flow for the head

you dont always need a water cooling head, the main reason is because the water is right there and the tops of most hulls are pretty low, but mine is a catamarna so a stock cooling head would have 2 ducts on each side feeding it air off of the lake or pond, which is cooler air then on ground.

here are some pics with the axial in the boat ( i didnt even have to cut the crank on this one to get the coupler to work, it was easy

hi there just joined this forum (and rc hobby) and am looking for a place to run my thundercar i know that the forest preserve website lists a rc pond but its all the way in Wheeling, anyone know of anything closer to the city???
bubba, ya'll (you and Jeff) are pissin' me off.. I was into boats, but got rid of my boat, then you guys got into boats.. ya'll suck!

with all that said, I'm getting another boat... a submarine and then I'm gonna kinda torpedo your butts out of the water... talk to you after new construction is completed!

(how about an Akula class boat with a mamba in it for power? hmmmm)
What the heck is Akula? Remember i'm from the sticks now! Big Grin

Soviet class submarine... they don't make good US boats unless you want to spend a couple of thousand bucks...

thge akula class is a balistic missle sub, im memeory servers me correct it is the biggest sub ever in service, if you remeber a few years ago the russian sub KURSK sank, it was an akula class sub

nah, I think the Tridents are bigger now, and definitely the Seawolf and the Typhoon class...

I thought Akula was an SSN?
OH I see, thanks, now I can say i've learned something this week!! LMAO Hey John, give me a call sometime today, (boat) there's a hint! Big Grin I'll be home till 2:30 before I head to work, i've gotta get busy on swapping the engines around in my S-10 pick-ups! Call me dude!
stratcat Wrote:nah, I think the Tridents are bigger now, and definitely the Seawolf and the Typhoon class...

the akula is about 5-6 meters longer(depending on what site you look at for specs but all agree it is bigger) the seawolf looks to be about 107m and the akula 113

FYI the akula class is a typhoon class sub. (for some reason i thought it was a boomer sub but is looks like it is a mix of a boomer and attack sub, there are conflicting stories of the sub)

AKULA is the russian classification the NATO classification is tyhoon class, the akula and typhoon class are one of the same

I know most of that... I spent a few years hunting them Wink I think that they actually had some Akula's with missile tubes also.. memory is a bit fuzzy Big Grin

I'd only seen Seawolf in the docks, not the finished product Sad

Matt!!! I'll call you dude.. hopefully in a bit, I'll help you remove those engines real quick!
